Unlike iphones who are basically the same. That is why iphone users are sticking with their iphones for 5 years, they do not see any reason to change their old iphone. And when they finally decide to change it, they just accept what their loving company released that year. Good or bad, they will accepted and praise it like good sh**ps. Zero thinking and zero choices.
In Android world you will have multiple choices. And people actually think on their choices and on their needs. That is why is more advanced and more interesting.

Gee, I wonder why that might be. Maybe, just maybe, its users don't want massive changes from one phone to another. Ever thought of that brainiac? Casual users want a reliable device with expected functionality, not a phone where now it has a classic camera and next version has this weird flip flopping swiveling swinging camera. Oh and we'll totally change the navigation. The migration from buttons to gestures was a huge shift that confused whole bunch of users. It's stuff like this that Apple simply avoids because of users. Android phone makers just don't seem to care except few ones on their certain product ranges.

Android is light years ahead of iOS in terms of functionality, customizability, security and ease of use. Android from 5 years back can do things current iPhone can't.
iOS 14 finally got an app drawer and widgets, Lol these are things that existed on Android a decade back.
Plus with every subsequent update, your battery and cpu are deliberately slowed down by Apple (Yes, they are paying fines for this malpractice) whereby one is forced to upgrade after a few years.
