Overpriced and nothing special about it, the features they given, that's why always fail, this gimmick is so outdated, Called "pro" pro-fail they means.

Anyway, it's not about being rich or whatever to say that something is worth it. Every people has different needs and different uses for their smartphones, so just choose whatever fits for your lifestyle and move on already.
Nobody is judging you for purchasing a $3000 Galaxy Z Flip Thome Brown edition that has the same internals as a standard Z Flip, but just more expensive due to the materials used. The same thing should be applied to those who are going to purchase this thing as well, because arguably this one actually does offer more functionality for the increase in price tag compared to others that are just expensive because of the 24K Gold attached on the back of the phone.
You people should seriously grow up already. Crying over a piece of cake that's not made for you is such a childish act, and it wouldn't really change a thing.
If you are fine for paying $1500 for a phone with no headphone jack and no charger included inside the box, then $2500 for something that has both of them and then a mini-HDMI port should not be a problem at all.
Wild guess, if this was a Samsung or Apple product, you'd not complain like thie, will you? Am I right? Jeez.

Given how much Sony bragged about the display on the REGULAR Xperia 1 being "professional" grade, and how there are already some phones with 2 USB ports in the market, I really think it would've been much wiser for them to incorporate those extra features into Xperia 1 II while keeping its price roughly the same. Why bother designing a separate casing with an entirely different look for such a niche product if the internals are 95% the same the general consumer model and very few people/company would buy it anyway?

if xperia 10 iii manges to pull off:
90hz screen at 1080p resolution with hdr oled
along side 4000 mah battery and dual front firing stereo speakers (that are actually loud and bassy and accurate!)
along side 5g sd690, 6gb ram, and Expandable storage
along side dual sim (not hybrid) or one esim
in a compact form factor like 10ii
happy to pay upto 450 dollars for it. would prefer it anyday over Samsung m51 or A51 or nord or pixel4a
don't care much about the camera pixels and zoom count etc, even if they ship it with one good camera with average daylight and nightime performance with OIS, id be fine.
Audio, Screen, battery and form factor is something where i can't compromise.... That's why sony remains a favourite after all these years

Phone would end... moreHonestly I understand that it would make the phone thicker but this is professional video equipment first and a phone second. I just think it should have something a little more robust.
Mr. Mobille even mentioned the port being loose in his review. There not a lot a value here if it breaks soon after getting it.

Sony releases a real "Pro" phone, with pro features as in for industry professionals and people don't understand.
Other OEM releases fake "Pro" with nothing professional except the price tag and people go bananas over it.

What this phone does, cant be done with other.
Sony is always talking to photographer/videographer to know what they want and need.
They would not make this phone if they were not sure there are people interested in it.
Many do not know, but few years ago Sony sold to the French Police many units of Xperia X and Z4 Tablet.
This is the whole thing Sony is looking for.
There are different ways to make money with Xperia, not just regular costumer.

Definitely a phone for working photographers, ability to have data uploaded almost instantly for your work is invaluable. As for the price, who cares companies will pay anything to get media first in this instant society of ours.
