On 1II/1III there is ToF right beneath middle lens so there is no space for main sensor to be slotted there. Also P30 Pro also does not have any heat generating trickery like 1II does.

I actually doubt if the Xperia Pro exterior could end up on the Xperia 1 iii, especially those shortcut buttons. But we'll see anyway.

such a slender and lovely SONY-esque design, why did they ever leave INDIA :( Could have adopted better pricing approach and upped the game in OS updates, am missing it definitely.

I was looking at DSLR sites and every single one recommends a prime lens vs a zoom lens due to the fixed lenses that are always in focus and generally better optically.
Am I wrong in this regard?

But back to reality, it is a very nice phone with simple curves yet square'ish. The display is uninterrupted which is awesome.

21:9 ratio is better. even samsung and chinese Oem's are are now using 20:9 displays.
Sony should use VRR panels in the next flagship with increased screen brightness.
Also add 1920×822p(320ppi, closer to Retina Display) for stamina mode

Only thing I can see Sony doing is:
Crisp = 4K@60Hz
Smooth = 1080p@120Hz
Efficient = 1080@60Hz
They've not done 2K like...ever. I do hope they crisp up the 4K to be true 4K this time around (2160p).
