This should probably stay a concept phone

Well time to post a conflicting opinion

It's too easy to call curved screen screens gimmicks

Let's look at where we are heading > "button less /portless smartphones" & 5G ,6G and beyond

With connectivity demands positioned to get much higher buttons will take away valuable space for 5G ,6G antennas as the sides of smartphones has not been utized to their full use yet

Plus the argument of "better" , better never was the name of the game it was always about CONVENIENCE and ECONOMICS

The consumer would for sure choose a better signal reception
over "comfortable to hold" when they live in a world where connectivity is EVERYTHING and trust me connectivity integration will get much worse

Apple will make button less/ portless mainstream and with their high volumes could make curved screens really cheap and it would impact supply chains globally

And if it's cheaper to make then business will have an incentive to keep that pattern, business is business

Dont they get it, Flat screens are way more user-friendly, curved screens are just a gimmick to say we have a bigger screen size without the phone getting bigger.

Another gimmick feature by these companies, most likely will never be made available to buy. Also looks ugly since it's not truly all sides of curved display, but the corners are still an awkward place where there's likely to be no display present and that will look awkward and bad. They're clearly trying to hide that part

This is one of those impressive thing that is kinda useless in real world application. More about realizing form instead of perfecting function. Actually by doing this they basically say "f*ck" function, let me have this beautiful form".

Just a concept, might come to reality in 5-6 years as tech is not there yet for this to work perfectly fine. Next....

The bezels are there just to accommodate the front speaker and the front camera, that's it - no notch or punch hole to talk about. Not only that, Sony went for flat screen design which makes it even easier to grip. Despite my only concern for the screen being too tall, it is still one great looking phone to this day.

Holes, notches, under display cameras are junk ideas.
I can see if you have a budget device and the screen area covering the under display camera is a tad off due to the pixel clarity issue from the camera but when a user pays $1000+ for a phone the display should be uninterrupted. No holes, notches, shady areas where the camera sits.
I may be alone on this but if I notice a flaw on anything that I've paid decent money for I can't help but focus on said issue until I dislike the product. Even a glimpse of the under display camera with the screen on would drive me insane.
