I love how any Belt and Road from China like to state win-win... Exactly what do the foreigner's win? Name ONE country/company has a true long term win point... Any!
In short term, yes they provide employment - but the bottom of the management chain. Any expat exec. arrive, that person's order pretty much override anything. Comparatively easier funding and loans, but ever wonder why is easier? It because normal channel deem high risk, while China willing to accept 'selected' target to provide financial support. Especially hopeful they cannot pay back, because they can just take over by extreme long term lease after failing repayment. And those small minor however do survive, following close to the guideline that Chinese dictate. Zoom till today still forever delay their transparency report and nobody care which data back than, was directed by to China. The GDPR violation of a former Hauwei European management case went no where, as even they cannot provide clear answerer as to what happen to his personal information after send back to HQ.
Then there's left some German think they know their government is so good, yet being the only state endorse Huawei in EU, but the same government happily spent millions of tax money declare state will forfeit Microsoft and migrate to FLOSS, and long few years later admitting it not working and now has switch back to Microsoft again. Sure, their government knows what they are doing.

Really, Mr. CEO? Speaking with Joe Biden...? Are you kidding me? You think you can resolve political matters all by yourself? Even if Joe is willing, the CCP wouldn't let you.

Well something must be done.
Huawei is not the brand which deserves to fail and banish from the world.
There are plenty of brands i like more less such as Samsung Sony or Apple because of final price compared to manufacturing price. Where brand new device is heavily overpriced and in month or two same device cost 30% less.
