Anonymous, 11 Feb 2021Junior.... GOOGLE ASSISTANT is the gold standard not Siri.
... moreI never used Google Assistant or Siri on my phones. What should I use it for? Ask for weather. Lol. I just press an icon on my phone and I can read it myself, thank you.
Or ask for a joke. Lol.

I wouldn’t call this something new. Hearthstone also keeps the login Data, after deleting and reinstalling the App.

One doesn't need to use iOS to know that just like one doesn't need to be on Facebook to know that they do bad things with your data. You still in high school Jun!or... You can't even afford a 200$ phone let alone an iPhone 12.

Android-Authority, 11 Feb 2021You guys are so gullible. You don't even understand ho... moreThis is very true. A guy I know, who has an online business, show me this. There are special programs that let the owner of this businesses to see who enters on his site.
And this guy has some basic program, but he told me that the big corporations use even more complex programs and algorithms.
And yes, even iphones were tracked by his program. As long as somebody with an iphone entered his site. I think he paid some money to have this program, to help him with his business or something.
And yes, is also 100% legal to do this, at least in Europe where I live.
I don't know more details, because I am not that interested, but what the guy showed me and what I saw (like charts, algorithms, etc.), was enough to convince me that once you are connected to Internet, your data is already tracked or collected by some machine or program (no matter what device you use).

Totally agree. It is pointless live paranoid with all conspiracy things. We all hype about "artificial inteligence" yet we afraid give them our data. How it can become inteligence if they don't have data to feed on them? How machine learning can learn without our data? How we human can smart without study?
If we don't want our data become their "consumption" then we should not bother to create such "artificial inteligence" or "machine learning" things. Like they said it is our self create a "monster" to begin with xD

A simple site you visit collects lot of data on you.
Everything is brushed under the improving services narrative. One day you will wake up!
Right now these things are going over your head like someone discussing Quantum physics with a 4th grader.

Its quite possible the app recognised the IMEI or some account on the device like Apple ID or so.
But this incident by itself is not quite conclusive.

Think logically, if they broke the faith, won't they lose money and power? All data collection is to improve service, sell said data to others, who in turn is trying to improve their services.
But yes, there are grey areas, when the data collection results in them losing money or power. Such as medical data collection, then ban said individuals from getting insurance for example. But all in all, too much paranoia, and most of them have being addressed.
