It's been doing this for quite some time now, it's not limited to iOS 14. Dunno how this is new?!

Of course, the fruit logo company drops the ball AGAIN. It just goes to show what a big difference there is between their public statements and what devious practices they really do behind the scenes.

Nothing New, 10 Feb 2021Nothing surprising as privacy isn't thing in smartphon... moreAnd how does it change privacy? It's clearly stated that factory reset also resets that. If your phone is properly secured with FaceID/TouchID it doesn't affect anything. Now, granted i would be nice if there was a button to clear that without resetting the whole phone. If not for anything else to easier troubleshoot problems and re-login. Inconvenience, but not really a problem on a larger scale.

Hm, I had to re-sign-in to every app I've re-installed so far. Must be an app specific thing.

apple didn't say that they won't use user data themselves after cutting off other apps, they don't want to share them for free.
