Anonymous, 20 Feb 2021I still remember the horor of watching YouTube videos in 48... moreNow be more horrified to find out there was a way to circumvent that restriction. If you only tried.

My favourite resolution displays on mobile devices is around "2k" but I love watching 4k media on them. Down-scaling 4k to my Galaxy tab's OLED screen makes for some beautifully sharp and colourful Mandalorian.

I've used vanced for access to higher res youtube for years now but I'm glad more people will get more options.

It has to be a bug. 1440p and 2160p videos will still stream at 1080p in a FHD+ screen.

                SEUL8TR, 20 Feb 2021You need at least 80mbps to on 2160p 4k too buffer smoothly.Mine isn't buffering even at 40

80+ comments, and knowing it very well that from the title itself, and there are only 6 4K devices ever released since 2015, and the controversy surrounding the OEM who created the "4K-smartphone" device until currently, boy it was expected and quite "an argument" sigh...
