Chinese software isn't complicated. Infact it provides more simplicity than others.
They were the first ones to provide "easy mode" for old people.
Android software updates don't matter as it is way ahead of iOS. Did you see 10 year old features percolating on iOS in year 2020. Even Android users on Marshmallow can do everything better and more than iOS. It's embarrassing to use something that outdated and handicapped.

If people will not care about updates, then why Samsung is pushing to make those updates more and more customer friendly. I mean 3 years of OS updates, 4 years of security updates.
If the updates weren't that important to general public, then companies will not care about them, certainly not spend billions of dollars on it. Even chinese manufacturers are becoming more and more aware of the importance of software. You are living in a bubble probably, or you know too many people with 5+ old phones. Lol.
And yes, updates on phones like Samsung or Apple are more stable than Chinese phones. But is normal, software is more complicated and is not easy to learn like hardware. Also, Samsung and Apple are investing more money specifically for this reason. When Chinese companies will grow more and have the same amount of money, they will probably invest more in software development and catch up with Samsung and Apple. Until then, this is the hard true. Sorry you feel so b*tthurted from it, lol.

Android--Master, 25 Feb 2021The Poco F2 pro is as good if not better than the IPhone 12... moreI will gladly buy a Poco F2 Pro. But I will never pay 1000eur for an Oppo phone. Or an iphone, for that matter.
But I read that Poco F2 Pro has a lot of problems with Android 11 update. Nothing like the cr*p Mi A3, but still, it makes you wonder about the capabilities of Xiaomi in making good software updates. And yeah I know Mi A3 had the Android One program and that made it difficult to work with, but it should have been in Xiaomi care to sort it out correctly, not in Google care.
I own a Poco phone, so in a way I am directly interested in this situation. Hope it will not be full of bugs when I will update to Android 11. I think here is where companies like Samsung or Apple stole the show. They are worst in pricing and features offered, but they are making the most stables updates. Also, because they have the most money, so they are pouring the most money into this.

There is no special optimization for iPhone. Every company has dedicated teams optimizing their OS before release on their devices. Your knowledge is stuck in the past, back in 2010 when one could say iOS apps are more optimized. Did you just wake up 10 years later?
And other 300$-400$ phones aren't just spec sheet. They are indeed better in multiple departments.
