Dani, 07 Mar 2021Acutally V30 was the first recording 10-bit videoLG started their campaign with that, but apparently it didn't have 10-bit in the end. Maybe the Sensor or SoC or Codec was the reason.

Ha, I was looking for a Lumia 1020 in this post. Lol. I always wanted that phone (but, shortage of money in that period made me settle for other inferior Lumia phones).
Also, if I remember correctly the Nokia N8 had some good camera for its time (I think it was 2009-2010?).
Too bad for Nokia and HTC. Such great phones and now they are almost nothing in the mobile world.
#sad.

OwnFix3, 07 Mar 2021OIS should be a standard for video. OIS is more suited for lowlight photography since it can allow longer shutter speed. For video recording, there is EIS as a secondary help.

OwnFix3, 07 Mar 2021OIS should be a standard for video. OIS is not made for video.
Videocameras (those that go on shoulders) do not use lenses with OIS.
They use EIS or stabilization is applied during edition.
Cameras with EIS only are better for video than EIS+OIS.
OIS is just for slow shutter, cant handle huge shake like walking during video.

React 2 Gadgets YT, 07 Mar 2021Where is Huawei's Achievement?
1. Puting periscope ... more- Even that guy on twitter "Rodent950" that post mostly about huawei says the "free form lens" is software correction.
- Google's TopShot was a failure attempt to copy Predective Capture of Sony XZs. Pixel 3 not able to use AF and photos only 1MP, while XZs can do 19MP with AF. You can check the video review of Pixel 3 done by Android Headlines.
- no iphone before the 12 series can do HDR videos, the "HDR" trick used by photos is not same HDR for videos. Image stacking has nothing to do with 10bit recording.

Apple iPhone 7 Pl... morenice rundown... for the last part, i think it will be the next of the series - autofocus... and ye, so far eye autofocus is the most recent autofocus on smartphone, it was not even long after dslrs have them...
there is also that phone that has visualized edge detection for autofocus, i am not sure if that was an lg phone (i only suspect it is from lg since lg phones are good on photo and videography as well...

Like gsmarnae reckon they did their first preview of HTC HD2 on November 10th 2009 !!! Which I find strange cos I was already on my 2nd HD2 by then, first was wwe mod with "only" 678mb of ram, second one was yankee T-Mobile version with 1.5 gb of ram,,which made all sorts of things possible, remember romz for flashing were only a few hundred mb in those days, with 1.5 gb,the whole OS could be run in ram,for much faster device speeds,my favourite rom was only 187mb,blazingly fast, due to about 75% of Googles rubbish from andriod, even then, having been edited out,rom sizes are what these days,a couple of gb,95% of it useless un-needed dross,Microsoft XP is smaller than many phone romz now !!!
