And you dont need to make the compact phone 7mm thick to just have that 2200mAh battery in it. It can be 10mm thick and have something 3000-4000mAh battery in it.
And if you think that 12 mini dont sell well just cause of it's 2200mAh battery then your wrong. As all iphones have had small batteries. Iphone 12 have 2850mAh so it isnt that much better also

Most of the Japanese friends I know owns a switch. It clearly shows what the Japanese people wants and it's completely different from what the gamers around the world wants.
It's just sad to see PS isn't doing that great in its home opposite on whats happening in other countries.

Mampara, 09 Mar 2021Hope they place to good low light cameras at the back. I re... moreOnly problem with the big phones is that they dont fit in your pockets. I cant say i have small hands. But i still want a compact phone just cause i dont play games or watch videos so the large screen makes no sense for me. Especially as i work behind screen at work and then when i am home i have desktop pc too to play games and watch videos.
When i am out i want to be off from any screen. And large phones are not comfortable to carry around. I cant even tie my shoelaces when i have phone in my pants pocket cause it prevents me to bend forward or any type of bending. these big phones make you like a stormtrooper suit with what you cant remove your helmet or sat down

Only xperia pro has vapor chamber ( also graphite and copper).
Lack of compact flagship = poor sales of XZ1c and XZ2c compared to XZ1 and XZ2P

Make sense for Japan only releases. At least some of them would still buy Sony phones. The rest of the world, the Sony “fans” are just talk, demanding this and that, but they all end up just buying cheap Xiaomi or Motorola phones, always complaining that Sony is too expensive. No wonder Sony is bleeding. Their fans are not real fans.

You can make phone small like iphone 5, with same chip A14.
Sony does not have a 5,2" 21:9 version of 5ii because they know it would not sell more than 50.000 units.

I dont see any p... moreA 21:9 device under 135mm will have a display width of 55mm making the device maybe 58mm wide significantly less than the 65mm of iPhone 12 mini making the volume significantly less than the iPhone 12 mini or any Xperia Compact before. While yes the transistor sizes and every other smartphone component are much smaller the heat output has only grown. One of the agendas of pushing larger phone is the ability to have a bigger vapor chamber or thermal spreader big enough to keep the device cool.

Hope they place to good low light cameras at the back. I really love this size fone where currently we are swarmed with huge fones. A compact with midrange affordable price is what we need. Even my girlfriend with small hands agrees.

I dont see any problems how cant they make new compact phones under 135mm tall and under 70mm wide. Apple can do it with iphone 12 mini. Where is the physics in there or what is this physics your on about ? Never mind that they were able to do it 10 years ago and everything have gone smaller and smaller in 10 years.
