Huh, that's the first time seeing Antutu banning a device. Honestly, I don't care about companies cheating on benchmarks when the normal consumer will buy it regardless. Tech-savvy people may already know the actual performance which in this case, Snapdragon 888 never disappoints. I don't understand why they'd still cheat as if they're expecting more sales.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2021i'm now questioning why the vivo x60 pro+ and the iqoo... moreprimarily because vivo and xiaomi does cheat too in their antutu scores. they get exposed on geekbench so badly, if you look at the scores on geekbench between the zenfone 7 pro and the mi 10 ultra, the ultra is 0.8 times lower the score but on antutu, it scores higher than the zenfone 7 pro.
Remember that the Zenfone 7 Pro has an overclocked 865, called the 865+ meanwhile the Mi 10 Ultra has a regular 865.

did MTK recently deal with this issue, where they would clock their chipset's frequencies so high that the chip is no actually able to take all that horsepower...or something along those lines?

Do people on china rely on benchmark numbers? Do they affect sales?
I really don't understand the need to cheat these benchmark tests lol
I use realme 5i and it's decent enough performance-wise for its specs. Idc about their cheating though. I'm pretty sure other chinese brands do it too including non-BBK brands. Not a realme loyalist though.
