I'm an LG phone user since 2013. They're just doing good until 2017. But the classify of products is getting higher. I've got bad quality phone for about 207 USD, while samsung provides better quality for that price. (Comparing LG X & Q series with Samsung A series in 2017) In all aspects as camera, build quality, features etc. Like I said samsung is the only real rival here since other legendary names such as Nokia, Motorola etc isn't in the first place anymore. Also Japan (Sharp, Panasonic, Fujitsu etc) didn't joined the global markets (except for Sony, but sony mobile also falling down. You can see the market share in every countries). I know there's some people who don't buy newcomer brands for some reason, but how about when those newcomers (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei etc) much better than LG midranges? It makes the consumer of LG is tearing down every year and moved to other brands. To get the consumer buy your flagships, at least give good quality in midranges.it just like trial, then consumers will addicted and buy flagships. Anyways, LG flagships still perfect also with that manual mode. Whatever happened, as they make a statement to shutting down the mobile division, as far there's still LG users around the world. Please don't make they really leave the phone by stopping all services and certificates. Don't be like Nokia when they moved to Microsoft back in the lumia days. Even my Nokia asha series technically is a smartphone but they stopped all services in this phone, also with outdated certificates that makes the phone unusable and makes me moved to other brands called LG.

lol I believe you meant samsung right no 3.5mm no QHD (only S21 U) plasticy frame no Micro SD fake ZOOM lens.
Huawei provide the best lenses on any camera.
Sony provide 4K display ,4K120fps Manual Video, PRO phone for broadcasters that could cost them more than 5K USD equiv. solution.
LG provide QUAD DAC Manual Video recording with focus peaking mic control up to 8K .
all three gives proper flagship devices and yet cheaper than samy with Micro SD solution, aluminum frame ...

I've always enjoyed LG phones. I'm sad to see that they are dropping out of the mobile market. I have been in order of the LG G2, V10, V20, and Wing. Their devices have always treated me well and held up reliably. As a side note, the LG Wing is the best phone I've ever had. In my opinion it out does any other Flagship slab or folding smartphone.

Im glad LG is also dying. Hope samsung will be next. They are too naive to keep the price high because of branding. They forget that this is android it is not same as IOS with exclusive software.

85s85s85d, 23 Mar 2021Pray to God, definitely apple. This company needs to RRIIPPIt will be samsung. Here in my country samsung dominate the phone market before but now they no longer in top selling phones. They keep creating low specs and overpriced phone which is ridiculous. Why do i spend a lot when i can get high spec with lower price. Im a samsung user before now i switch to chinese brand which have same durability. Do not support overpriced phone because of branding they are not like apple that have no competition for software. This is android.

Arod, 23 Mar 2021wait if lg mobile will shut down (why) are they still doing... morego for v60... if you have not bought the v50 yet... v60 was just updated to 11, and more features were added... that is why i am still halfway on believing lg mobile exits the industry...
i bought v50s + ds last year... the first one i have with quad dac (for real hires audio, though for ordinary audio files i am satisfied with xperias upscaling)... thinking of buying lg wing, whether used or not after a "couple of years" ha ha...

YUKI93, 23 Mar 2021I can't really understand what you are blabbering abou... moreThe amount off features Samsung phones have are fully specs.
It's like buying a Mercedes S600 with every extras available.
With Nexus or pixel you only get Mercedes C190, lmfao. It's like buying mansion but hardly any goods inside. What a joke, LMFAOOOOO.e.
Huawei, Sony, LG, no other companies can provide all these extras like Samsung.

Okay, I hear a lot of people complaining but no-one is submitting a solution. If I was put in charge of LG's phone division, I would focus on making the best phone and making the best marketing. Together. It's difficult, but it would be successful, and competitors would soon attempt to emulate it.
I think everyone here has an idea of what a smart and successful marketing campaign looks like (see OnePlus One, OnePlus 3, Apple iPhone 4 marketing). So let's look at what it means to make the "best phone". Well, it is a challenge. Soon you realise that "Objectively" some phones are indeed better than other phones, AND YET, it is also true at the same time that what makes a phone better than another is actually "Subjective". In this very restrictive device, how do we prioritise our set of compromises to tackle the issue of Objective and Subjective best practices? Well, you specialise! And there are three distinct groups for this, the consumers who want longevity, the consumers who want simplicity, and the consumers who want luxury. So I would build three devices as such:
