They need to be aggressive to get the market share. Launch few good midrange phones and a flagship. In between they can do few experiment. With almost no good phone how can they compete? With India and US consumers trying to avoid Chinese brands they could have seized opportunity. But instead doing that they thinking of closing business.

Kingslayer, 22 Mar 2021LG G5 is my favorite smartphone of all-time and for one rea... more“ Will put a 10,000 mAh battery case for it. Should last for life for me.”
This made me laugh because it sounds like you are saying that you have a very short life to live, you will expire before 10,000mAh battery charge will. Lol

The last LG I had was the LG G3 and it lasted about 2-2.5 years before the dreaded blue screen of death kicked in. I’ve tried to revive it but I couldn’t so it is gathering dust in a draw somewhere. I got it to take snaps and videos while going on holiday because it had a very good camera (2015) and also for the SD card slot to save it all on.

My only reluctance getting the V20 again is I just hated carrying it around. So unwieldy. I owned the titan gray on T-Mobile for about 2 years from May 2017 to about April 2019. I decided to sell it because I needed some money but also because having it and the G5 felt redundant. But lately, I've been missing it. I did prefer the video recorder and display on the V20 than on the G5.

Just more proof that 2016 was the best year in mobile. I keep buying phones released from that year! I owned 6 phones released that year: LG G5, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, LG V20, Apple iPhone SE and 7. I would get the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 but I doubt I could live with an SoC weaker than the Snapdragon 820 and less RAM.

The year of 2016 really was the best year. Then 2013 and 2014. Phones were also way easier to fix and replace the battery except the HTC Ones and Samsung edge phones.

Shadocx, 22 Mar 2021Sony midrange phones are overpriced, there was way better b... moreLet's see how many phones with high quality oled (better calibrated than samsung phones according to phone arena review),IP68, gorilla 6 (both sides), headphone jack and 128GB, no macro/depth cameras for less than $400.

Do not mention phones from 2019.

They could easily cut all this in favor of any Snadragon 7xx or even old 8xx and 8GB ram
but this move would never be welcome in Japan.

Once I get my silver LG V20 (owned titan gray previously)...

              1. LG G5
              2. LG V20
              3. Google Pixel 3
              4. Apple iPhone SE
              5. Essential Phone
              6. Apple iPhone 7
              7. LG Nexus 5
              8. Xiaomi Mi 3

I prefer G5 over V20 for size and the speaker is much louder. And G5 tends to be a tad smoother and more responsive. The V20 is slightly better overall though.

If I get a LG V20 again, that could be one of my last phones I'll buy. Because imagine if I put a Zero Lemon case for it? That's over 10,000 mAh. Even if it degraded to 70%, that's still double than the 3200 it came with.

Removable battery is such a neat little concept, isn't it? Just like headphone jack, expandable storage, FM radio, and IR blaster. Too bad we will never get removable batteries back. We are stuck with Apple's way of planned obsolescence.

Crazy how phones from 5 years ago have more features than newer phones. And they still came with chargers and headphones too.

Just Electronic Products & Solutions ( all electronics except PlayStation).

By the way, looks like phone has 12/256GB for Western World and 16/512GB for East Asia (according to certification in China).
                Periscope is 120mm.

Event may be April ( it seems to be related to chip supply issues).

                  No one buys LG Phones.

                  No one.

LG should just focus on making 4k and 8k tvs and tgey should lower their outrageous prices else people will even stop buying LG tv.

I know people hate LG and hated the G5 but I love them. LG was what I thought HTC would be for me but failed to do. LG stayed creative until they started to become more me too. I always had problems with HTC. I still had problems with LG but they were way more fixable.

I have a Nexus 5 as phone for torrents. Manufactured by LG like they did for the Nexus 4, 5X, and Pixel 2 XL. The Nexus 5 still works wonderfully. To me, LG was way more underrated than HTC.
