I disagree.. Foldable phones is a great concept .. It will change the way, we see and do work all together..
Only barrier is price.. Mi with it's honest pricing strategy, can break that barrier.. They can do well, in this market..
Looking forward for aggressive pricing in the market to keep a check on monopoly from Tech gaints..

Disappointing camera and no OIS is a joke for the price.
I guess if someone cares about a foldable form factor, it's worth it, but if you care about a camera and a phone, it's an overpriced bleh.

Either way is better as a product than the competition and it's better than the progress of the others. They won't re-discover the wheel if the customers dont push them

Finally, a foldable with a more ubiquitous aspect ratio (4:3) compared to Fold2 (5:4), Fold (4.2:3) and Mate (8.7:1). Think of it as an iPad Mini that can fold which is what I've dreamt of. It's also got the biggest battery of the bunch. That price tag is a lot more enticing than the Fold2 and Mate X2. However, the compromises of this foldable is that the unfolded screen refresh rate only maxes at 60 Hz and its very tall.

Glad to see a company cares about innovation. Most of the competition, especially Apple and Samsung (the big innovators) just recycle same technology... consumer's choices are powerful thing but who cares, if it has an apple on it I'm buying right?

I do wonder how folks think you can make something that is basically a screen look different to another 'screen'. The push for years has been bezel less phones and now it's happened folks complain all phones look the same. Xiaomi in my opinion is the most innovative phone manufacturer in the world at this time and I love their products. Also when someone does do something different folks still complain! I loved the look of the Nubia phone with the display on the rear (which also enabled selfies to be took with the main camera and have NO notch or punch hole and LG are going down fighting with a rollable phone and the wing! Sadly unless apple or Samsung do it it's considered 'just a gimmick' till they implement it later. All the companies 'copy' each other but I say so what if it means we as consumers end up with better products? Keep going Xiaomi 👍✌️
