The last few year i see samsung galaxy s & note start losing the status symbol to oppo find x series, vivo x series (x50/x60), mi series (mi 9, mi 10, mi 11).

Wtf, this is truly a sad moment in history..... heartbreaking even.
LG was one of those very few companies left that actually listened to their consumers and always kept the headphone jack in their phones. They literally never skimped on anything in their flagships, they always included every feature.
Why is it ALWAYS the companies that go above and beyond that becomes bankrupt???
Or a better question, WTF is wrong with the 7 billion people in the world?? Do people not know what makes a good phone other than the brand??? And I don't think it's LG fault as I'm pretty sure they've spent a reasonably good amount in marketing.
Now please don't tell me Sony is pulling out of the business too..... that would just make me lose all faith in the smartphone market.
I am so happy and blessed to have owned the LG G4, LG G6, and LG V30. These phones will still remain very close to me.
Smh at all the lame LG cynics in this comment section, clearly some people have had a bad experience with LG (sucks for you I guess). If anybody else wants to take a dump on LG, you'll have to go through me.

[deleted post]Why would you throw hate towards china brand? If the old brand (lg, htc, sony, samsung) can't keep up. It just a natural selection. Asking LG to keep up bleeding doesn't make sense.

Pretty sad though. The only smartphone brand that can provide superior audio quality and provides that 3.5mm jack all the time. Their general build quality is solid and some of their phones put cheap brands like Xiaomi and Realme into shame. LG wasn’t scared to innovate.

You don't need 5+ manufacturers, just to have some sort of competition or to make companies built good reliable phones.

It's sad to see LG go, after all, they introduced a lot of groundbreaking features that we take for granted these days or keeping features that are endangered. Those features that LG served were like an ultrawide camera, keeping the 3.5mm headphone jack + DAC, flexible curvature phones such as LG G Flex 1 & 2, side buttonless (it was on the back), and even some out-of-the-box innovation and unique concepts like we saw on LG Wing 5G, etc. I was even considering my very first phone to be an LG feature phone (KP175 or Cookies).
