LG is officially out of the smartphone business

My first smartphone was an LG, about a decade ago now. Sad to see them go.

      Sad to hear that LG is gone. Got Android 11 update last week on LG G7 One.

      They failed only because of wrong pricing strategy. Still don't understand why launch a phone on higher price if you are going lower it the next week.

        Smartphone fad is kinda dying already. It will never plateau like it did 5 years ago. The only ones who still want to pom-pom smartphones are the endless tech YouTubers who are just clickbaiters. They get rich by saying smartphones are not boring when they really are. I'm looking at you, MKBHD.

        So for LG to leave it, they should. Why keep hemorrhaging money? LG manufactured other things even way before phones. The market is saturated as is. I only visit this site to read comments on old phones and for tech news. My interest in smartphones has waned for 6 straight years already or the time LG started losing money.

                Am using lg v40 now, been tru samsung, Apple, huawei,xaomi, you name them, never found a phone with a superb battery like the v40, 2 days heavy internet usage, loses 2 percent overnight in sleep mode, Best audio reproduction on any phone, never fails

                          Unreal. Get rid of the people responsible for most of the cheap models, refine the better models and become a boutique seller and rebuild.
