when article about sony popped up on this site, we could see comments section full of sony haters. But when gsma conducts survey (weekly pool) about sony phone, turn out got positive response indicating people still looking forward to it.

Just because you prefer to use wireless and like to charge them every few days doesn't mean other's would rather use a wired option. I myself use both dependent on the situation. Prefer wired for most situations honestly. But that's just my opinion.

I compared Galaxy Buds+, Sennheiser Momentum, Anker Liberty 2 and my current JBL Live 300 TWS with several wired headphones including Sony - no difference in sound quality AT ALL! I will never give up Wireless freedom to anything.

People who still use them are old-fashioned retrograds who just lie themselves. Trust me, Sony is just 2-3 years behind the others. It will drop headphone jack sooner than you think.

unlike in the philippines where it is either apple and samsung despite high price (ridiculously high profit margin despite of lower cost per item due to exonomy of scale) or lower specsheet to price ratio, not realizing that there are cutting corners here and there...
but of course, it is normal for most users... 256gb storage, 8gb ram, 7000mah and.a 60+watts charging... that is all for them...

Almost every iPhone, Asus, Vivo, Oppo and even few Samsung models uses Sony sensors. That's where they are focusing and the few individuals who knows what quality phone and cutting-edge tech really is all about. Not all can afford a Ferrari and the same goes for the Xperia. Sony sells their latest tech through this companies mentioned above. They will survive without the average Joe not buying their phone. Apple is their biggest marketing client, you just didn't know this.

People comment how Xperias don't sell but then they bring OnePlus as an example of a manufacturer that sells. LOL. Before Nord phones OnePlus was selling just million more units than Sony. They barely broke 6 million units annually worldwide in 2019. Huge seller! Might as well start the stories of OnePluses imminent death as soon as BBK pulls that marketing money that gives away phone with PR gift package to every random youtuber so they can have day zero review.

But i know they will fail a... moreI don't know why, where, and how did you think the features brought by Sony in the Alpha-inspired features on Xperia such as versatile Photo Pro-Cinema Pro, Real-Time Eye AF, 360 Reality Audio, and 20fps AF/AE considered failed, where those features have been implemented explicitly or implicitly by other manufacturers, such as Eye AF in Vivo... And did I mentioned Xperia Pro succeeded where RED Hydrogen One failed?

And considering LG left the business, Xperia 1 (or 5 when that phone comes out) Mark III are my next phone.
Need that headphone jack + sd slot, also Sony does it better on more regards than LG ever did, but LG got always dirt cheap in the end in my country... but this time I keep my phone longer.
