A phone is not just about loading pages marginally faster. There are other issues to consider. Expandability, tweekability, serviciability... Sorry Apple, you crappy new phonejail aint a place for technologically savvy people who value their freedom.

Its good that iphone5 is so fast, so it can impose restrictions on the user much faster than before. For example the error message "incompatible bluetooth device" will now pup up as much as two times faster! Thats great, it can now stop attempted photo sharing twice as fast, make sure grandmother will never have a photo of her new grandson on her outdated grandmother phone. Grandma, u sux anyway.

better than an Android CPU on the market right now. So happy I waited for the iP5 instead of diving into the old A9 SGS3. This thing is a beast.

Within 6 months it will be surpassed, and in less than 2 years will be outdated and old hat - in exactly the same way that every smartphone has been, is and will be.
Yes it's a good phone, even a very good phone - sorry hater's... need to be fair and objective about the facts whether we like to hear them or not (and I'm a GS1, 2 & 3 boy!). However it's not great - sorry iFans!
No phone is perfect. All have a some shortcomings, compromises or issues.
People (iFans & AnFans), be objective...be fair...be openminded and even handed. It doesn't belittle you or your deivce to applaud or acknowledge the positives in another one. It's acutally how you get manufacturer you support to improve and incorporate features you want!

I can comfirm note, s2 and s3 never lag when running custom aokp rom.
Lag are only found on stock official rom.
