Those in between (5:3, 18:9, 20:9) aren't standard, and Sony knows that well. And if you look at other OEMs, 20:9 is the norm now, so it's only time when they jumped into 21:9, is going to be widely adopted. 16:9 have the same adaptation issues as 21:9, the only became total norm in 2013.

    Clocked speed isn't everything.

Knowing that Sony midrange Smartphones will cost 300-400€ they should have gone with a 90Hz Display, faster SoC and OIS for the camera.
If you look at the Chinese competition and see what they offer for 200-400€ then I doubt that the 10 Mark 3 will be big hit.
At least more compact dimensions (max length below 149mm) would have given it an USP (unique selling point).

At first, I thought 120Hz sounds great. But when I use both 60Hz and 120Hz under prolonged use, I didn't see much significant difference between the two. If anything, I see a much better battery life while using 60Hz despite having QHD+ resolution. That is why I never set higher than 60Hz on my OnePlus.

We all know how terrible the software was for that phone.
You haters have never experienced premium panels in your life.

Stop repeating the talking points from 10 years back to justify sh*tty Snapdragon 690 at that price.

A Snapdragon 690 isn't going to outperform a Snapdragon 860 or 780 or 765 no matter how good the UI or optimizations.

i0S.-.Never.-.Again, 14 Apr 2021"YUKI93" can't see the difference between 60... moreI don't see the need of having smoother scrolling as a requirement on a smartphone, especially when reading articles and emails. I care about the content, not the scrolling effect that you can't even use continuously. And btw, I have indeed tried out 120Hz before courtesy of the Razer Phone.

Let's stop advancing technology Coz this guys eyes are unable to see the difference.

Did you know that high refresh rate experience on a smartphone is not just about the eyes but about the touch and Ui experience in particular? Ohhh you wouldn't know that coz you have never used a premium 120hz panel in your life.

Judging by Sony's past pricing graphs, this won't be less than 350 Euros.

So it does need to be a premium Mid-ranger as if you add a few more Euros to it and one can get proper flagships.

What's with cutting all these corners with weaker Snapdragon 690 chip?
Just give the users a Snapdragon 780.
                                Or Atleast a Snapdragon 750/765.

This phone actually looks pretty good but I think Sony's 21:9 aspect ratio is a big mistake.

                                    My next phone

I'm genuinely hope Sony Xperia make comeback,,
my first phone was Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and my last Sony Xperia phone was Xperia Z3

Sony Xperia Z series was great phone but bad pricing,, Xperia acting as if they KING of Android market while ignoring the rise of Samsung Galaxy and China phone maker,, Sony Xperia keep increasing Pricetags without increase meaningful Value on phone, probably they selling Brand just like Apple

i hope Sony Xperia executives learn something from past mistakes

A good midrange phone in 2021 cannot have a 60Hz display anymore. It got to 90 Hz or more. I personally like 90Hz better. Doesn't hurt the battery life that much while still being smooth enough.
