Why are they always so expensive?? I love their design and features but they should be at least $300 less, Sony is not Samsung or Apple, the brand isn't as strong

Releasing a $1,300 phone in January 2021 and July 2021 are significantly different. By the time, the Xperia 1 III is released, you should be able to buy an S21 Ultra for $800.

      Anyways, diving a bit more into specs of each, one can only acknowledge that Xiaomis, Oppos, Vivos, etc...top offerings are not any cheaper than Sonys at all. In this here russia presale offering, even more expensive it seems.

          Android-Authority, 15 Apr 2021Samsung, Oppo and Vivo are giving earphones/earbuds First of all, not everyone lives in US and 2 countries from Europe or 1 country from Asia where they give these deals for merely 100-200 people and then update their websites with sold out.

          Secondly, Sony headphones are much better deal than any of the mentioned brand's ear buds. Both price wise as well as quality wise.

          Thirdly, The price of S21 Ultra 256GB variant is 1300 Euros at launch with no deals. I have to pay 1500 Euros for 512GB variant at laucnh. For Apple (even today), I should pay 1600 Euros for 512GB and 1370 Euros for 256GB variant with no deals. So you see Sony's 1 III is still cheaper (Assuming 1200/1300 Euros) compared to other leading flagships.

          Conclusion: All smartphone brands are expensive as heck and way too overpriced. But when it comes to Sony and LG they should sell their flagship smartphones for loss??? That's how LG mobiles shut down.

              Sony sells 1 III for 1100 eur here with expensive buds, but I see for ex Xiaomi selling its flag for 1200 eur, but that one lacks stuff, no sd slot, no jack, 4gb ram less, and just usb 2.0. Does Xiaomi give fastcharger in the box? Offers any buds at least?
              Oppo sells its flagship for even more but has 4 gb less ram and just gg5 build. Are those extra buds any good for the price there?
              Vivos flag is just 800 now, but also just 128/8 gb ram, no jack, no sd, single speaker, usb 2.0, and just fhd screen. Are its buds some pricey ones?

              I still see this Sony offer here for 1100 eur with WF-1000XM3 earphones a better deal than those.

For example Sony's fiscal year 2020 ends on March 31st of 2021. Isn't it wonderful to work for that company lol! Summer is considered late May btw.

That brick is as almost as wide and half a tall as Find X3 Pro. So either that brick stays home all the time so you quickly top up your phone when you are home doing nothing anyway or you don't take your brick with you charge your Find X3 Pro on a regular speed charger somewhere in the office or wherever.
