I currently use Xperia 5 II and I'm super satisfied. Looking at these MK3 series I can say Sony continues where they stopped, simple and great design at the same time, no ugly punch-holes and stuff, great screen, cameras... Nothing to complain about it. I believe everything will be super fast and smooth with the SD 888 just it remains to see how it will turn out with these devices considering that some smartphones had heating issues.

          What a device!!!
          For me it is 9/10
          Only bad thing is sp888...
          Knowing previous Sony phones, this will throttle badly.
          Qualcom did a bad job with 888.

            Proper flagships, full of features, with reasonable size, without holes in the screen!!!

                  My experience has been uneven, even if I tap to focus, I would expect their much touted AF to do better, forgive me for being demanding of my £1200 phone.
                  Moving objects are pretty much a no go in my experience, even the eye focus is iffy. I'm not impressed.

                    Only Apple makes iOS phones and their fans will buy whatever they're given. The point is how Sony compare with other Android phones and generally their photography comes up short.
                    iPhones are pretty similar in that way I guess, they've been shipping subpar cameras with clever video for years...

                      I wish HTC also made a solid comeback like Sony did. 🙁
                      I miss their beautiful phones. 😔

                        I don't know who would choose that remote control feeling in hand instead of more tablet like wide screen. No, no, no, no. Just no. Typing on Sonys remote control screen is a big p.i.t.a. No way. What about the cameras - on paper they look good, but in reality they are absolutely trash.
                        Sony, please take a seat next to HTC and LG and stop producing that kind of jokes. You are done and out of smartphone business.

                                      I have an Xperia 1 ii, it produces the leat impressive default photos I've seen for many years in both the main app and Photo Pro.

                                        I like them. Sony aiming at the top end of the market, probably where they belong. Sony could still launch a 'My First Xperia' to compete with the Chinese.
