I wish they would allo MacOs on iPads too, my iPad Pro 2018 with the A12x is still a extremely quick. The new iPads would be awesome

ios/ipad os is tii far to do anything but install few apps and play some video,mac os and windows are unreplaceble for at least 10 years,actually android is more closer to be used as a desktop but for media consumption mainly,linux is no go for the end user as it requires a lot of skills just to install anything on it

I have the previous generation iPad Pro, which was also marketed as a replacement for a computer.
I do some graphics work, so I'm using the iPad Pro as an art tablet. It's a really great device for that, and I'm happy with my purchase.
But it absolutely can't be described as a replacement for a computer. There's just no way it could replace one. Not because of performance (which is great), but because of the OS, which is literally just a phone OS with some improvements. It's not a computer OS.
I can't create a folder structure for a more complicated work project, put my files there, and edit them with different software. In iPadOS, every piece of software has its own, internal file system, and it's a huge mess. There's no way to reasonably organize a project. So there's no way for an iPad Pro to replace a computer.

Not loading it with MacOS right off the bat is just a missed opportunity

apple tablet (iPad 2021) impressed me very much. The price is about $800 to $1200. And $1200 is still usual for high performance device and flagship.
And this apple tablet (iPad) use M1 chip, a chip that also used in apple computer (Mac). The performance must be overwhelmingly good for a tablet class.
(Btw im iPhone hater. But just on iphone, not in any Apple products)

I thought one of iOS14's best new features was the App Library which serves as an app drawer. Homescreen is much cleaner now. The apps I rarely use or never use but can't delete gets hidden. It's one of the reasons I stayed with Nova Launcher on Android for so long.
Apps like Netflix, Tubi, Spectrum TV, Pluto TV, Air TV, and Peacock which can be found on both platforms makes me not care about storage space or even torrents. And I have Google Photos which stores all my media content. The differences between iOS and Android is so blurred. They're practically interchangeable these days.

Computer grade performance in terms of hardware... What about software?!
IPad OS is nowhere near Windows... Or Mac OS for that matter.

From #3 and after changes all the time. If I never got the Apple Watch, I would have never got the iPhone 12 mini. But I'm loving the 12 mini. My mother got the regular 12. The 12 mini just feels nicer with one hand.
GSM Arena really is a breeding ground for Apple haters and Sony and Xiaomi fanboys.

I don't see the reason for the iPad Pro 11" model though. I find more appealing the iPad Air (taking in consideration the price too).

Kentucky Derby winner will be Highly Motivated. F Godolphin. Known Agenda might get a slice if good post position. And the 2021 NBA champions will be my LA Clippers.
Since iOS14, I actually like it the more I use it. Since iOS13, I can block unknown callers. That's why iPad is getting close to the desktop experience. People should try iOS14 more and they'll see. While Android is getting worse and becoming more restrictive.
