The only problem is compared to LG sony would support phone branch and factory who maing Sony phones no mater what even if they loose lot of money on that.
But maybe i am wrong and as Sony Vaio their notebooks gone from bussines back in 2014 their cell phones will gone too.
I liked Sony but when they knew the real value and sold for real value.
Asking 1000+ for a phone worth 400 is a bit lousy and confusing or courageous.
Same for low end devices such as L series. Asking 300-400 for a phone worth 100-150 where company like Xiaomi can make exactly same thing for up to 15 bucks.
But yeah meet the Sony way. Some people rob banks and other rich people to survive. Sony robs everyone just to prove they can. Because value of the Sony sticker on every device adds 50% to final price.

Manufacturers sold more phones before except Chinese brands now and made more profit but now they matchup the profit by increasing the prices not actual sold product numbers. anyways its my point of view! i think people also expect something useful and quality stuffs than useless scams. maybe in future some this might change as it gets worse for them.

Looks like phone has option to use the 3 rear cameras same time.
At least for photos. No mention for video.

[deleted post]Still, you should known that Sony makes a lot of improvements in the Mark III series, both under the hood and externally and some features that're exclusive to them. Hopefully, you admitted that Sony is marketing their phones in the niche market since OG Xperia 1. I mean, those features Sony baked their are most normal users are got intimidated and must have a lot of learning curves.

Well, goodluck finding a phone that fullfills all the fundamentals features in the future without LG or Sony presence who sacrifice a lot just to keep combinations of fundamentals specs such as 3.5mm headphone jack, MicroSDXC slot, and proceed to complain why smartphones are lacking everything you need and then blaming existing LG/Sony and their loyalists because they failed to defend it when your faves literally keeping on eye on Apple and its next move to remove something basic LOL.

People for God's sake when you buy a Sony branded product you are buying a quality product. Sony no longer sells my Xperia 1 device in Brazil I bought in the United States. It will be 3 years of use and never presented a problem. All my devices have always been from the Sony brand that I will continue to buy even though I have to import from another country. I will buy my Sony Xperia lll at a discount on Black Friday.

This weekend there was a event in Russia. Sony was there to show A1, 1iii and 5iii.
Notes are:
1) front cam does better than 1ii
2) you can force 4K 120Hz
3) you can use the google button to open any app you want.
News from China :
- no heat issues like few other with 888 (mi11 is the worst of all, no susprise because the phone was rushed to say it was first 888). Also no issues like SD810.
- battey lasts more than expected.
