Nick Tegrataker, 25 Apr 2021Or simply because the competition uses a sensor that is 3-4... moreThere are tradeoffs. The new Pixels take very good pictures, which is what counts at the end. So do the iPhones.
The is a good comparison of the Pixel to the 1+ 9 Pro on android authority and it is pretty illuminating.

some random dude, 26 Apr 2021I trying to say they are trying to mimic the DSLR look."Letting the highlights blow out" doesn't mean it's mimicking the DSLR look. Apple's image processing is not even trying to achieve that.

some random dude, 25 Apr 2021https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT6HFpOPE-k&t 2:15 to 2:25So am I supposed to believe that Apple's approach is DSLR-like just because one Youtuber guy says so, while ignoring the fact that iPhone 12 Pro [Max] applies a tons of clarity boost and chroma noise reduction to the level where colours in finer textures start to look desaturated, sharpens and smudges luminance noises out on a Pro"RAW" image, and crushes shadows to oblivion in low light? Lol please.

Google is not trustable anymore. They cant even protect their own secrets and it leaks. I am sure our user data is always leaking to hackers.

the 1st pic is so obviously an ultrawide, it's got goldfish bowl bend on the sides ( i hate ultrawide). i bet they're still going to use the same weak 12mp 5+ yrs old cmos. google really have lost the plot so far as good phones well priced goes. i bet it's even got curved edge screen an no 3.5mm. it will be rubbish.
