This is probably another 1/2.6" camera.
You will never match performance you get from 1/1.3", 1/1.2" or 1/1.1" camera.
No matter what kind of trick google may come out with.
Hardware is limitation here.
Samsung cant give the results of S21 Ultra with same camera used by S10.
Xiaomi cant give the excellent result seen from mi11 with same camera used by mi9.
Huawei cant give the results from Mate 40 Pro with cameras used by Mate 10 Pro.

I like how they "accidentally" revealed a photo which amply shows areas with shadows & highlights as well as colour to start hyping the launch of this $399/- device.
Ofcourse GSMArena is also in on & mostly paid for the PR exercise a.k.a. promoting the "accidental reveal"

Hdr+ is now behind apples smart hdr, and other chinese phones hdr implementations. In extreme dynamic range, apple and google phone struggles a lot. Google and apple are eating their own words. They said that they want an point and shoot experience. So why use night mode on every night shots? Because the sensor is so so bad. Only helped by software. This isn't point and shoot, but point, wait, and shoot. Night mode is useless. Not each people has 2 - 10 seconds of time for waiting still for one picture. Chinese phones are way ahead in night time photos at auto mode. Google and apple needs to upgrade their hardware to another level. They always need night mode to shoot at night to deliver clean results, with night mode, shots are pretty much unusable. Samsung is bad at software processing, despite the large sensors, non night mode photos are soft and noisy. I don't understand why mrwhosetheboss and other youtubers shoots like to leave shots in auto mode in chinese phones while using iPhone, samsung amd Google in their night mode. It is unfair. American technologies are falling behind Chinese technologies.
