Does anyone out there even understand that iPhones do not have removable batteries??

All sounds good, but why did they put a 2,800 battery in that you can't remove? If you think about it, a 4.3 screen will eat the battery life up fast! Next & most important thing is, "ARE THE APP'S FREE"?
Next is PRICE? If RIM can keep the price resonable, which they never have, they might just make it, but I'm seriously thinking about moving over to the iPhone 4s with 32g @ $200.00 with Verizon, that will be hard to beat!

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2012Hahaha Quad core? really why you need that? so the keyboard... moreJudging by the model name its reported to have and the meaning going behind, I dont think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out this high level phone's specs arent going to waste - add to that, if you werent so ignorant about the fact that RIM have been having conferences around the world and have been getting developers (games and apps) on board to create high end games and apps for when their NEW re-written BB OS is released - it really doesnt take even a person of average intellect to figure out that there will be more than just 'contacts' and text.

I unashamedly like BB. I use the my BB9900 as my primary mobile phone device though I have a Note as well. Frankly I hope RIM gets their act together, produce great devices, excellent quality, and with functional software. I am not that excited on just hardware specs, but far more interested in what the software can deliver as an integrated business tool and personal management assistant. There is no device on the market that does this successfully at the moment and can replace a good netbook for example.

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2012Non removable battery eh? that should be interesting!Yes, non-removable. Something iPhones have had for five years in a row, and will likely never change.
The iPhone's battery is 1,440 mAh...this one is 2,800 mAh, so it is virtually double the capacity. If an iPhone lasts a day or two, this thing should be able to last three with moderate use.

Yeah, Apple and Samsung are the ONLY companies on the planet that are capable of making quad core phones. (??)
Apple, Android, Nokia, WP etc. are all excellent brands; but RIM pioneered the smartphone business. Just because they have fallen behind due to corporate mismanagement, doesn't mean they cannot produce something better than the competitors. It's all about competition, regaining market share, and offering consumers options. This option happens to be a good fit for both business people and gamers/others who use the phone for apps and toys.
Those specs, if were posted by Apple, I'm guessing you would have said "Oh yeah go Apple for making the best phone out there", but because everyone bashes RIM, it's impossible...?? RIM have a number of new phones coming out, some with lower specs, this one just happens to be a high-end one. Which looks to be pretty impressive. The new BB 10 OS has some pretty cool features that none of the competitors have.
Even though the new devices won't be out until January 2013, I'll be getting one of them.

nasha, 04 Oct 2012Add a 12 Mpx camera with AF to that and you got a hands dow... moreBoth the hardware and the software need to be spot on. If you exclude Apple/ios, Samsung and Android have got it pretty easy at the moment.
