DrakeX, 06 May 2021It's not unusual if non-flagships get 1 year Android v... moreWhat software support? Apple software is way behind Android.
On paper software updates, where you get a new number next to your iOS version is useless.
What did iOS 14 bring? Anything new when compared to Android? Nope they just got decade old features in year 2020 and people lap it up like 5 years update from Apple is soooooo great, coz they heard a bunch of Youtubers praising it without deep diving into the respective operating systems.
When one deep dives into it, people will realize that 5 year old Android looks like it's five years ahead compared to iOS on all fronts. Anyone pointing that out never receives Apple products for review ever again.

notafanboy, 06 May 2021Who cares? Does your Xiaomi smartphone still work? Yes. So ... moreThis⬇️exactly! I was using a Moto X 2014 up untill 2020 on Android 6 marshmallow and it ran absolutely fine. I only swapped it for a Poco X3 NFC (which is frickin awesome) because a couple of important apps like my banking app stopped being supported and I need that to be functioning. Yeah it wasn't as fast as newer phones but it worked fine. The X3 has had a steady supply of incremental miui 12 updates and is scheduled for Android 11 and miui 12.5 so no complaints and I honestly don't understand what all these supposed 'bugs' are? Do you people who post these comments actually use Xiaomi products or just parrot other comments coz for a phone that cost under £200 it works flawlessly.

Anonymous, 06 May 2021Samsung has more bugs that Xiaomi. Apple has even more bug... moreWho said ios or samsung are better all smartphone manufacturers are pathetic they all deliberately release buggy updates but for some they do it more often than others the case for Xiaomi. Evey junk Xiaomi released on or before 2019 are done the Mi 9 series, the Mi 10's will get half baked buggy updates & for Mi 11's they'll begin to get slowly their first set of bugs in a form of MIUI 12.5 then full out bugs in MIUI 13 When Xiaomi will have new dozen phones 😀 you gotta love Xiaomis business model it ingenious to say the least.

I run a shop selling phones... Now closed due to pandemic but still selling through Amazon as a merchant. I have used all types of Ui from 2020-21.
In my experience, Top 5 buggy Ui in 2020-21 are as follows:
1) iOS
2) One Ui
3) Miui
4) Color OS
5) Funtouch OS

Infact they don't even have budget for 100$ phones. These are just trolls who see outdated miui videos on YouTube and copy paste whatever is being said against Miui

Apple has even more bug... more100% I can confirm the same.... I got tired of the bugs on iOS which needed constant fixing every time a new version was launched. Why would you want unnecessary updates when everything is working fine?
The whole 5 year update system is overrated and brings nothing new and yeah it does slow down old iphones and causes battery degradation so people go and buy new iPhones.
I've found Android to be a relatively maintenance-free OS in comparison.

-Casey-, 06 May 2021Will I get it on my Poco F1 ? Can anyone please confirm that ?Forget it, even if you do it will be half baked and full of deliberate bugs to crippled your phone. If you really want it you will have to buy a new phone from them that will ship with MIUI 13 in the box. That's the only way Xiaomi can guarantee continued sells. And sadly OnePlus has copied Xiaomis software update policy of pushing bug updates to order phones.

Only gullable users *cough... cough.. iOS users* fall for this update trick.
Android users know that even outdated devices with SD625 running Android Marshmallow operate fine without any problems, handle everything you throw at it, just slightly slower compared to newer phones.

Never again Xiaomi. There update policy is pathetic
Once they release a phone forget about software support, if you ever get an update it will be half baked & full of bugs which is deliberate to crippled your old phone & force you to buy their new phones. Xiaomi has to constantly launch new versions of MIUI 11, 12, 12.5, 13 & ditch old devices or push half baked software update full of deliberate bugs to older devices flagships included in order to continue selling new phones. The version your MIUI phone ships with I'm afraid that's the only optimized version for your device forget future software support. Never again Xiaomi.
