the only issue so far is that the reported band coverage in the USA includes LTE Band 41 but not 5G Band N41, which is insane...all of LTE 41 in the USA is N41 ever since T-Mobile bought Sprint...hell, it was the main reason for the merger.
im hoping ASUS ensures N41 coverage on the US model, otherwise the phone is irrelevant to me.

The SE 2020 can't last a day if you aren't a moderate or light user (friend had the phone and has to charge it almost every day before the day js over). I like the Zenfone 8 so much, but don't know about the software and updates and I already bought a phone. I was waiting for an affordable small flagship with a headphone jack. Maybe the next generation if the software updates are okay

I love the flip camera on the flip. But I don't think it is different enough or much better than the Zenfone 7 Pro. I'm happy sticking with my Zenfone 7 Pro for now. Really love this phone. If you're thinking of buying it, or the flip, I think go for it. My movies don't have holes in them.

My phone is smaller, I can tell it surely does not feel any compact.
S21 is basically size of S7 Edge. There is nothing compact about it.
Compact is at most size of iphone SE 2020.

i want to vote for - yes, it's what i've been waiting for - in zen8 vote list except once again your poll is giving me voting problems (2 weeks in a row now, whatever you changed made it worse). zen8 looks to be a proper alternative to samsungs a41.

I wish someone takes this trend forward launching below 6" falgship phones with bigger batteries. My sweet spot is iPhone 12mini size, But it has aweful battery experience.

They're both trash though. The flip is missing a headphone jack and the regular 8 is missing Micro SD and a telephoto lens

Idk why but some people do forget the S21 & P40 as compact flagships.
The P40 even has a proper triple camera w/ much better output to boot, only thing holding it back for most customers is the lack of GMS (though this is somewhat easily remedied to some extent if u don't overly depend on GMS, which could be a trigger bcoz u shouldn't depend on something way too much)
Sure they both lack the coveted HP Jack, and I won't argue about it bcoz it was simply removed to ape Apple & make more money, nothing else, but u could find both of these for around the same price of the ZF 8 and they both have much better designs imo than this generic look

Melissakis, 16 May 2021Of course, but mainly it's too tall and narrow.It's about the same width as this, and the extra height is mostly from the bezels (which I'd trade anyday for this generic punch-hole), the screen is bigger on that but probably that didn't add too much to the height.
Idk why other people crib/complain about Sony using 21:9 displays, so many phones already use 20:9 or 20.x:9 already, the remote like shape of the Xperias is due to the bezels and the boxy rectangular design since their screens are also almost a perfect rectangle (w/ very small rounded corners).
I personally would prefer to upgrade to an 18:9 screen from my 5" 16:9 one. Bcoz these extra-long screens usually mean that while watching videos in landscape, most vids (16:9 or 18:9) would still take up roughly the same area (zoomed-out, unless u want a big crop & that notch inside the video) since the width of the phone is about the same (mine is 69mm)
