Weekly poll: is the Asus Zenfone 8 the small phone for you or would you like a Zenfone 8 Flip?

16 May 2021
Or perhaps neither is right? Keep in mind that as far as small flagships go, would-be buyers are hardly spoiled for choice.

AnonD-994853, 16 May 2021No charger and accessories in box manSo what? I have like 10 chargers. Headphones, earphones, cables, extracting needles, I have everything. I do not care if they earn money by that, I just care about the environment. Just give me a bare device without fancy boxes and all these paraphernalia, I couldn't care less.

Anonymous, 16 May 2021Xperia 5||| doesn't have great camera Doesn't have great camera? The Xperia 5 Mk3 has a periscope telephoto camera whereas the ASUS doesn't. Both models have to rely on digital crop zoom from that 64MP Quad Bayer sensor. So don't throw in the verdict too early.

you should've titled the article" small phones to buy if you live in a first world " because both Xperia & Zenfone are not available worldwide & you can only get them on Amazon hens you have to live in a first world country

Anonymous, 16 May 2021Plain Jane design. They could made the devhce look more ap... moreI mean they could make a perfect phone, but next year they won't have anything to improve upon, and it'll be looked down the same way Zenfone 8 Flip is. So what I think, the ugly design, and some of the other omissions are intentional, so that they can release an improved phone later this year.

Moreover, due to almost every manufacturer releasing their phone early, I think Asus knows they are late in the game, so they released an imperfect phone. When Qualcomm refreshes its flagship SOC later this year, Asus will probably release a new Zenfone too, probably a Pro variant.
