    I'm curious if at the end, that custom rumored SoC would be a modded Exynos 1080... Google always pursue the cheap way for them.

      I want to correct: The field of view (when you focus on distant objects) depends on the sensor size and the focal length. For distant objects, the focal length is the product of magnification and distance.

        I had a 3XL (that notch ...), a 4XL (that bezel .. and weak battery), a 5 ( too small for me and sub SoC), and always that outdated camera hardware (ok they masterize computational but what could it be with top spec hardware ...). And now that design ... I have always loved my pixels but now I give up. One of the richest company in the world not able to deliver a phone that could be close from perfection, they have everything for it. Like they do it on purpose.

                That looks better design in after 5 iteration of pixel. I expected front design to be no hole, no notch design.

                  And hopefully, the tele camera is something like a sharp 12.2 megapixel 107mm camera (that's theoretically possible without periscope technique as I mentioned in a previous comment) or a 56 megapixel (not Quad Bayer) 50mm camera with the same effective diameter.
