Anonymous, 16 May 2021its funny to see how Xiaomi haters have low knowledge of IT... moreXiaomi triumph was because of Huawei downfall.
And also because they implemented an intelligent business strategy. With few exceptions (1-2 flagship models per year), they just flood the market with model after model. Basically at some point, somebody will buy one of their many phones.
Is not pretty, but it's effective.
And they did this because they figure it out that in Android world at least, people change their phones more frequently. So, no need for 5 years support or something. People will just buy another cheap phone with good specs in 1-2 years.

Anonymous, 16 May 2021LOL.. 🤣🤣 stop promoting your crapgram photo. I'll bet ... moreWow what a critique. I guess u have a legendary skill levels in photography. Would like to see some.
There are genres. Streets, Travels, Wedding, Landscape, Sports, Wildlife etc. From that list, some of it REAL PHOTOGRAPHERS indeed use a REAL CAMERA in specific events, not all the time, in order for making money. U forgot about hobby. If you into streets, u should know that daily pics in everywhere u go can be shot as VISUAL NOTES, not necessary a daily post 🙄
Well this kind statement of yours will never come out from a REAL PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS. Because they understand. Usually its from a wannabe one.

Bootload... moreWrong, in some countries warranty gets void when modifying anything, some others do not, it depends, that is the bad thing about spilling half-baked incomplete knowledge, next time, think and investigate a little before trying to bash someone

Anonymous, 16 May 2021its funny to see how Xiaomi haters have low knowledge of IT... moreNot everyone who posts criticisms is a hater. I'd have criticisms of every phone I used from different brands and also points I liked. Yes, there are people who seem to blindly either hate or love a brand but we can't assume a criticism necessarily means a person is a hater or praise necessarily means a person is a blind fan.

Xiaomi would need this to beat Samsung. Their hardware is up there with the best that's out there, but their camera is what's letting them down.

its funny to see how Xiaomi haters have low knowledge of IT and specially cell phone technology, Xiaomi definitely has some issues, but what brand dosn't? I always say there is not a perfect phone, dosn't matter what phone, be it 1.5k iphone pro xx or samsung galaxy ultra thing. everyone know this fact, but they don't want to accept it. the truth is Xiaomi has its name, when you look at the facts that xiaomi has almost zero advertising yet became worlds 3rd smartphone maker, thats something you cant ignore, it means alot. because Xiaomi is benefiting from its users, free advertising for xiaomi. I for one have bought more than 50 Xiaomi phones for friends and relatives + 50more recommendation since I first bought Mi 5, (it was the work of art at price less than half of the competitors). beside its spec/price wise attraction, miui is another aspect that made me huge fan of Xiaomi, however since they are changing their native apps to google apps (contacts, dialer, messaging..) im being disappointed

Anonymous, 16 May 2021Internal components on your Sony are also from other companies. Not all.
Rear cameras use exmor.
ToF is in-house.
Battery is in-house.
Periscope is in-house (not bought from that israeli company)
Most brands buy 100% of components.

The only issue I have with Xiaomi is the software. I had before the Mi 9 and also the Mi note 10 pro with 108 MP camera. It was laggy and had also errors of just a device that total freez. I just try to waited for update but it was not helping. So I sold the device again for a Huawei P40 pro and works great except no wireless payment ,so after A while there was a discount (huge) on a Oneplus 8 pro and swith to this one. Love Huawei camera;s and must say the oneplus does it job well, but Xioami should go for better software support

Anonymous, 16 May 2021Lol, Sony is indeed using cheap quality hardware . A friend... moreWell your friend has bad luck. I have used a Sony Xperia Z5, and it has only problems with the proximity sensor, the battery life was good! Because you see a phone running bad doesn't mean that brand is crap, just remember antenna gate from Apple, or how easy was to bend some of its phones. Does these issues made Apple a bad company?

YUKI93, 16 May 2021I don't have to be a troll to experience that first-ha... moreShh, in their minds, everybody who says something bad about Xiaomi, is a tr~ll.
In the same way, everybody who says something good about Xiaomi, is all of a sudden a reputed member of this site that everybody somehow trusts. Lol.
I have owned 15 smartphones in the last 2 years alone (from different brands). I paid around 5,500€ for them (I even made an excel file with them to keep track). I got some of my money back, because I sold them early after I bought them. Yet, nobody trust me and they consider me a tr~ll, just because I have different opinion than them.
Why did I buy so many phones? Because I can. Also, I like to try them myself, instead of reading a spec sheet or looking at YouTube videos. Nowadays those things make you a smartphone expert it seems.
