Even my friend who is currently using a Poco X3 Pro really hates MIUI. He also complained about third-party ads coming back despite already disabled it from the Settings. But since that phone is just about the cheapest brand new flagship-grade smartphone available at the moment, he has no choice but to keep on using it. He did ask me about flashing custom ROM, but I don't dare to do it on a brand new smartphone because of the warranty.

Who ever bought a smartphone base on camera are totally idiot. I bought smartphone base on the performance (SoC, RAM, Storage and so on including the software update. Not because it had the best camera with some brand on it) Ask yourself, do you even took photos everyday or minutes?? If your answer is yes, it's time for you to go some kind of mental health check up. To be honest 😏

3VA, 16 May 2021honestly miui is the worst ui i ever experiencedI used to say the same about Samsung's UI before One UI and Huawei's EMUI 9.
However, the evolutions have changed a lot, and now, I truly like Samsung's One UI, Huawei's EMUI 11, and Xiaomi MIUI 12. I think the one with the slickest looks goes to Vivo's OriginOS but I haven't tried that one myself.
Try a new UI. You have a point if you look at the old UI skins, but the new ones are different.

These partnerships usually mean little in the end anyway. Apple, Samsung and Google don't have these and they have the best phone cameras.

Anonymous, 16 May 2021Exactly, this partnerships will just bring increase phone p... moreNow the difference is not that big, but Xiaomi still noticeably behind the pack compared to the bigger players (Samsung, Pixel, Apple and old Huawei).
Its not on the raw hardware difference. Its the tuning of the hardware and software processing, something that Leica could help.
On why this matters? it's a difference that most reviewer will note and will affect whether those reviewer or influencer gonna recommend Xiaomi flagship over the big flagships. Especially now, where Mi-series priced very close to the big flagship pricing.
That being said, Xiaomi severely need to work on that MIUI.
There are several recent real world test (app load test and the like) where RealMe SD720 could be equal or even beating with Xiaomi SD732 where theoretically SD732 should have at least 10% lead is down to MIUI inefficiency.
