Assuming huawei has ties with CCP, it is still the better than all of the aforementioned companies working beside the NSA, CIA, DOJ.

A... moreNo, this could be actually a very solid choice for Chinese manufacturers from risk management standpoint. It can run Android apps, but app developers can choose not to and rather develop native Harmony apps instead if they really want to. OnePlus' CEO seems to be interested in it and Meizu will release a HarmonyOS-powered product soon. With that said, it might take a while until it gets adopted to smartphones that are released internationally.

This comment makes no sense since it's built on the baseless assumption that somehow the entire HarmonyOS *is* Android at its core.

They have every reason to do so to further remove themselves from Western companies that have shown they cannot be trusted.

                                    Excited for the update,hope we arent all beta testers if ever. I hope to see a phone/tablet without ads also. Just like the app gallery ad which is somehow anoying.
