I wonder if the UI design will change on older devices or they will keep the old EMUI skin & Android version and then directly place it on top of HarmonyOS 2.0. If it was the latter it would suck as hell.

Seems like Huawei really confident that their new OS is pretty light and will run smoothly on older device .. glad I still keep the Mate 9 .

I'm using P30 Pro and rely on GMS / Google apps for work and personal use. If I install Harmony OS, will I still have GMS on my phone?
If this update completely removes GMS, which I need for work, certain games and apps, then I will be leaving Huawei for good.

This is very nice and all (especially to those who still owns those old 2017-2016 devices) but I really hope Huawei wont force HarmonyOS on devices that are happily running GMS. I rely on G-apps for work and would not want to update.

I have managed to install GMS on my Mate 30 Pro so I'm will NOT update to Harmony OS under the risk of lose them.
