Huawei unveiled what it believes to be the be-all and end-all of operating systems for basically every digital device you can think of.

HarmonyOS won't be next Windows Phone because a lot of Android apps will work out of the box because it's mostly fork of Android, and pretty sure those who won't work well will be in the App Gallery pretty soon.

      hard to predict.
      If harmonyOS fail outside china, it will be always behind android and ios.

      If it succeeds in europe, asia, and also india as the core markets, maybe it will be promising

        So let's say this HarmonyOS stuff works out, but what's the need to buy their phones when you already know they're gonna be spying on you?

              it will not take over the world, c'mon.

                Even if it doesn't succeed in the West (and I think it does, as a lot of people are sick of Spygle), it will be huge in China. 1,3 billion people isn't joke.

                  It's slow against the other two. More unstable. But if they focus stability and apps over anything else, they won't be the next Windows flop.
