Every year, for its flagships, Samsung uses 2 SoCs, one by Snapdragon and one by Exynos. This year, Samsung will release rhe Exynos 2200 or whatever its name will be. That will use an AMD Graphics processor, and be the next general of rhe Exynos, using the next generation of ARM design. This SoC is the Snapdragon version of that Exynos SoC. That's why, instead of mere overclocking, this is a complete redesign with much better everything.

This is the succesaor for this year's flagship soc and it will be called sd 890 or something like that...not 888+...anyway but by looking at the specs a new generation of adreno gpu mean qualcomm is preparing an answer for Samsung's next soc with amd gpu....

I hope TSMC loses all of their customers the next few year. A con artist China brand that lies about what they can produce.

when is a discrete gpu in a phone coming? just like in computer intel/amd cpu and amd/nvidia gpu. this is nice for gaming phone and big brand like nvidia will come to a phone gpu. performance maybe better.

No way this can't be SD 888 plus !
The plus version never been upgraded with size cpu gpu before..
if it is what it is I will buy one lol..
that's a huge upgrade over the present one..

Maybe called Snapdragon 9000 something like that because that's the trend
If you are using 2 digits after a number it then becomes 3 digits ex Cortex A55 to Cortex A510 etc and Kirin 990 to kiron 9000
