Even more polarizing design choices than before. What matters to me is keeping the battery/performance/thermal design and dissipation at the highest standard. I would put that phone on a plasticky case anyway.

and why not... moreYou have cases for that particular type of material. And for S series from Samsung even more offers, because it's a well known series. Exactly like iPhone models each year. There are tons of accessories for them (you just need money, lol).
Is not like some strange model from Nokia, Sony or Motorola that you will struggle to find any type of case for it.

Tigolebitties, 15 Jun 2021I'm using it rn and imo, it's terrible. Even Mi 1... morecan confirm. i have a mi 10 ultra and a pixel 4a. every photo on the mi 10 ultra should be much better than the pixel 4a but for standard photography i often prefer the pixels processing.
not that the mi 10 ultra is a bad phone, it's just that xiaomi's camera algorithm is not the best.

But every... moreI was not talking about these chinese miror sparkling back, more about the thick polycarbonate uni body of Nokia's Lumias. Well, it got scratched but it wasn't really bad looking due to the appearance of the plastic.
Glass is easily scratch-able from the small vibration/movement when you use your phone on a flat hard surface like any table. Especially if there is a camera bump, then the phone lay on a line at the bottom of the back. I micro scratched gorilla glass 5 like this in less than a month. Yeah, keys in the pocket don't do that (well, it would first be really dumb to put key in the same pocket than the phone, but whatev') but the protection is only against big dumb scratches. Then again, plastic or aluminum would behave the same.
in the end most of user use a case so it's not like any of this would matter.
