Tiny, Thx! It could be much bigger, if they used 1 sensor instead of the multi sensors! Let's see the p900 sensor in a phone. Yes, the sensor will fit if we get rid of the multi cameras!

Even older P20 Pro still takes respectable images today after bunch of firmware updates, compared to its early abysmal firmware.

I'll take it over any 'S' or 'A' brand anyday, especially when it comes to camera quality.

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2021reviews everywhere say otherwise....Bear in mind that most of those "reviews" were also based on pre-production firmware which do not represent the current camera performance of the phone. Anandtech just released the camera comparison between multiple flagships, including Mi11U, S21U, iPhone, Pixel etc. and it's evident that Xiaomi fixed purple tint + wrong yellow hue issues that used to be present on early firmware versions, and improved the detail processing even further. Go check out the samples.
As for the video recording - Mi 11 Ultra is currently one of the best performer in this regard. No further discussion needed.

Pro Me, 22 Jun 2021Their AIS Makes up for that and gets good results Huawei will always be huawei, non-comparable in long run.
More features compared to price.
Every feature is standard at prevailing market of its launch.
huawei`s 90hz is far stable and better than 144hz of another phone.
my ideos 8180 is still good en fast.
my huawei y330 un beatable.
my g630 at 3g still fast.
my mate 7 still fresh.
my mate 20 untouchable.
my mate 40 pro+ doesnt see your s21 ultra.
i run ubuntu 20.04 with gnome 4 on 40pro+ seamlessly but on my friends s21 utra it lags seconds m every click.
the only thing we lack is mm-wave 5G and 16GB RAM

Although I have P30Pro with GMS, I haven't used Play Store for more than year because f Spygle. Huawei AppGallery has all I need. And if not, Petal search helps.

haha bobo, 22 Jun 2021If only Huawei didn't lock Camera2.api then it would... more"it would've been a million times more impressive if it's paired with GCam"
Umm, no. First of all, All Huawei flagships released till this date run on Kirin processors whose Gcam support is essentially non-existent. Also, if you're talking about their latest phones with RYYB sensors, Gcam wouldn't automatically try to convert and map the RYB colour space into RGB before post-processing the raw file, which means all the colours would probably look completely off in the final image.
One last important note: Gcam wouldn't be able to take an advantage of hardware-accelerated BM3D noise reduction that the stock camera app greatly benefits from especially in low light, do super resolution stacking nor utilise sensor's extra resolution (from QB) to achieve any sort of lossless zoom.. so there is a good chance that the image quality would be actually worse in most shooting scenarios.
Gcam is a great app if your phone's default camera app processing is poor, or if you want higher quality raw images without manually stacking them together on a desktop. The former isn't really the case and the latter isn't ideal on recent Huawei phones, hence you wouldn't want to run Gcam on them even if you could.

Davy Jones, 22 Jun 2021But what about those over processed photos with over the to... moreI held my P40 right now, and for sure it doesnt take oversharpened photos, at all. Unlike the other 'S' & 'A' company. You can check the camera review here in this site. Colors is just a bit off, because of the RYYB, nothing serious to my eyes. At least I can correct it later using HSL management, as I always edit & compose my image in finalizing process.

Davy Jones, 22 Jun 2021But what about those over processed photos with over the to... moreI can clearly tell that you're saying that after looking at a few P20 Pro samples. Their flagship phones from Mate 30 onwards actually process an image in a much more noninvasive way than most other companies do.

Have you even used the MI 11 Ultra joker?? Or just repeating words out of the mouth of Youtubers reviewers where they blame lack of consistency when compared to S21 Ultra?
If S21 Ultra gets 90/100 images consistently correct, Mi 11 Ultra will get 85/100 images consistently correct. And all those reviews of Mi 11 Ultra vs S21 Ultra comparisons were based on Mi 11 Ultra running pre-release software while S21 Ultra software was already matured due to early launch.
Remember how S21 Ultra was widely inconsistent and needed help polishing the camera upon launch? 3-4 months later it got very consistent and fixed majority of the issues.
