The MI 11 ultra with its large sensor gives better image quality through and details with its digital zoom than 2.7x optical zoom on Xperia.
At 5x or 4.Xx zoom range, the Xperia falls behind further..
Can your Sony variable zoom to 8k video recording or even 4k60 with great image quality?

When this phone is used on a DJI gimbol on wide angled lens the gimbol can be seen on the footage. Someone at Sony's design team should consider having the lens arrays placed horizontally at the top edge of the phone rather than vertically down the back if the phone.
