No one bought it, because the format is, to be frank, extremely dumb for a phone. There are a very limited amount of use cases. You'll never use a smartphone as your daily driver laptop replacement. That premises applies to both the LG and Microsoft device.

I want it to be a WRISTPHONE.
I'm not talking about smartwatch, I'm talking about an entire phone on the wrist with a 16:9 (or taller) display like existing phones, only bendable and wearable on wrist. Total next gen.
Every foldable I've seen till now is a heavyweight, only-showoff-no-utility gadget. A Wristphone will change the way you live.

No problem, bugs, issues, lags, or... moregreat , I think poco f3 is a worthy upgrade its miles better in every aspects except rear cameras wich are better but not by a huge margin, but lets not forget The pixel 3 and pixel 4a has imx 586 wich is nearly same as on poco f3 and with gcam on f3 the experience of cameras won't be far from the pixel 4a
As for me I don't care about cameras at all so Poco f3 is perfect for me even for double the price it will still be good because it has top specs in every aspects I need ,cameras are a bit less than some phones in the same bracket but I don't care about cameras and if you compare poco f3 with any Samsung or realms phone including A32 5g or A52 poco F3 will eat them alive , its like 50 percent better display , 70 percent better soc , 40 percent better build bucz of metal and glass, better high res stereo speakers ... it just destroys the competition , Even if it was a china only phone I wouldn't have trust that because even on china where prices are very cheap poco f3 is like a flagship in nearly 95 percent of aspect for just 340 dollars wich is amazingly good even if it was in china
As for me I have the mi 9 it has very beautiful display and aluminum 7000 serie frame with glass back and corning gorilla glass 6 on the front , sd 855 and very slim design , So no need for me to upgrade this year ,I may think of upgrading next year or the next next year wich is 2 years after this year , if thats clear to. you
I bought it second hand after 1 year and a half of his release and I have used it for 1 year from juin 2020 to juin 2021 but despite its small 3300mah battery and after all this time of use the battery is still good , wich is surprising, also 27watt is still fast till this year ,and thats a good positif feature , because you your charging speed is still up to the date despite the years passing, unlike 2 companies wich have 20watt and 25 respectively on their top flagships and wich I will not tell their names so that Sams.... fanboys and App... fanboys can't speak because I didn't say the name of that companies that they are fanboy of
but to help people to know these companies I can give a small detail
the first company is known for scamming people with midrange overburning and over throttling Soc in Europe and Africa and using plastic backs on plus 1000 dollars phone and keeping using 25w slow chargers also they are known for overpricing and cutting corners not only in flagships but also in midranges where they use sometimes low quality display like the A32 5g wich has 720p hd display that is worse than 150 dollars phones from 3 years with an soc that run cod only in meduim wich cheap plastic quality and for 300 dollars
and lets not forgot that their UI wich is one ui has ads that cannot be deactivated unlike Xiaomi where you can disable them in just 60 second for once and wich many of s...sung users complain about in youtube and ...
while the other company is known for overpricing anything they sell except their latest iPads and their latest Macs , 60hz display that is worse than some phones like poco f3 and with 20 watt

How about a usable aspect ratio, right now, we are getting is a rectangle that opens into a square. How about 16:9 unfolded and design the rest from that? Isn't the point of a foldable phone to become a tablet for media consumption?

I want it to be the same design as the first Huawei mate but from Xiaomi ,and with cheap cameras but other components should be very good with sd 865 or more and 90hz at least on both displays with big battery and quad stereo speakers and for less than half the price of Samsung overpriced foldable

I really don't need a foldable. Just an extra step to check your phone by needing to open it.
I don't love iOS but I do love my two iPhones. The 12 mini and SE1 which acts like the 12 mini's mini. Set up exact the same way except the slight variance with the homescreen wallpaper.
I'm fine with the SE1 size. Having a Razr becomes an issue opening it all the time. I do DoorDash and need slabs for navigation. Easier to just grab it and check the map. Most of these new form factors are gimmicky.

My dream folding phone:
- double fold, so the tablet mode actually gives you a lot more screen estate,
- thin when folded, 10 mm tops, so you don't carry a brick in your pocket, also with at most 6" external screen,
- hard screen, doesn't matter how it's done, soft plastic might be durable, but feels like rubber,
- big battery, so you can get decent SoT even in tablet mode,
- affordable, even if it means compromises in performance.
Once all of those happen I'll gladly buy it. And I know it probably won't happen sooner than 2030.

Well i just want an edge to edge display that doesn't scratch or break. You can keep your folding phones samsung and I'd love a gaming phone without a selfy camera. I've got a folding middle finger..likes to pop up now and again especially when folding phones are mentioned

my dream is to bring back 16:9 phones, no phone is wider these days. why trouble oneself unfolding, pay more for less, easy to scratch display, then break it in two years?

Am I the only one who preferred 1st r gen mate x design? You can use all cameras for anything
Or the design of 2nd gen what brand is that first company to ever release a foldable? Their 2nd gen folding mechanism has no space in betqeen when folded, not it sure if it's sturdy but no space in between is nice. Still not enough to make me remember their brand lol

Why do you even need a foldable? Watching videos on big screen ? You have tv for this purpose .
Or you want to do office work? You have laptop for this purpose .
Or you want to look fancy ? Get an iPhone
Foldable are unnecessary heavy and fragile. Their outer displays are crap they are non practically tall making it a nightmare for typing while inner display is too big to be used single handed
They always lack those things you could get on similarly priced up to date flagship phone
So in my opinion foldable are a bad idea

Foldable phone which would suits me doesnt exist because all any and every current foldable phone on market have zero durability screen and no screen protector works well.
No case will save your screen from break when fall.
So present foldables are just a big no.
Rather would have old 3310 Nokia than newest foldable phone which is costly but with zero durability.
Rather will feed or give money to poor people than tossing away my money for something very expensive but with worse durability than lowest of the low china made phones.
