Originally, the two phones were set to become available in early August, but Sony changed its plans at the last moment.

Sony's really improved this year and still managed to stick to their own thing. No phone is really perfect, there is always something to criticize and that includes this one.

          I get what you mean when you see blind fans, but I also hate these anonymous people who immediately bash on Sony as soon as they see news about it. Both sides are a problem.

Kind of thinking to jump back to Sony. But definitely not without flaws, therefore quite annoying when people blindly defend them on the parts that they need to improve. Their main source of income is elsewhere, but at least they aren't losing money in their smartphone division anymore which is a good sign. I'd rather have variety than 4 different clones of the same phone, but it's people's choice to choose what they want.

              Tbh I honestly thought you were from India just based off of ur name, there's something about it that gave me that impression. Sorry about that lol.

                  LG was selling over 30 million devices per year. In vain.
                  HTC that probably barely passes 100.000 per year is still around.

                  To Sony, it is better to sell 1 device for $1300 than selling 10 devices for $200.
                  Poinless to them to make phones that bring $80-100 per unit.


                  Average selling price was $1040.
                  People are buying more 1 series than 5 and 10 series.
                  Exactly what sony wants.

                  You hate sony because they do not do what you want.
                  Phones with curved screen, ugly hole, useless quadbayer sony refuses to use on own Alpha, UI that looks like iOS, speaker beside usb, midranges with plastic/no IP/cheap BOE screen and SD7xx.

                  Just curious why some many users from India defend chinese companies.
                  They come to India, pay unfairly low wages to employees (less than paid in China), sell low quality stuff, has bad political relationship with India.

                    It is true that this Sony marketing strategy is really rotten, the wait is too long, only those who are really interested will acquire it and others will move on...

                    Hence the question: Is it that we buy a smartphone for the hype, for its marketing campaign? Or do we buy a smartphone because we like it or need it?

While LG ... moreno one selling sony in my country anymore except one retailer,sony lost almost everything after z3 series fiasco,after thst they built a lot of crappy phones z5,whole XA series was with major hardware problems,then comes XZ series a lot of problems too,only playstation department still standing

                                Seems like demand greatly exceeds supply. Phone is already out of stock in Russia and China.
