GPS, reception A+. No call or any issues. Seriously I am picky as hell (used Zenfone 7 Pro, Note 10+ before) but i have no complaints. It's a really good, solid device. Worth every penny. Dunno why people think it's hype to hate on OnePlus. I had a 7 Pro, the GPS was utter trash on it. But the 9R has no such flaws. (btw I am using it in the EU, purchases it from Ali, China model with Global rom.)

I could have bought the 9 or 9 Pro, but the 9 has no OIS and the 9 Pro has curved screen. Very happy with my purchase!

I am newly purchased in OnePlus 9 r. Android 12 update in OnePlus 9r and heating problem in this mobile. Battery 🔋 suddenly discharging . Continuously work in OnePlus 9 r 4 to 5 hours in battery. Camera quality is worst . Rear side and front camera. One-hour Bluetooth and wifi connection is cutoff. And then mobile is over heating.

Nope, 05 Jul 2021Really? Nord N10 and N100 users asked for 2 Android updates... moreThey are dirt cheap phones, why would they give updates like flagship. Isn't too obvious duh.

nabbed the 8T for 475 on ebay little over a month ago (high end version). it's my first OP phone and i've never used anything so fast. good to know i'll be sticking around with this phone for possibly android 14 before thinking about upgrading. also, my brother bought the 6T temporarily as a backup and it's aged quite elegantly from what i saw. as a previous xiaomi user there's some small disappointments in some of the OP OS i wish had their treatment but overall it's pleasant so far.

this is dumb. why only for their flagships? everyone knows that the real money goes to midrange and the flagships are too simply keep up reputation as a company (which isn't wrong). spending 5-600$ is well deserving of the same amount of updates as flagships.

I'll settle for something with better updates next time. At least make the final update for the 7 pro a stable one. Just ridiculous.

2 months ago I got a contract for OnePlus nord now I wish I didn't, the phone that's nearly a year old has so many issues, this was my first OnePlus device, and will be my last, sadly I don't see any reason to not get an iPhone now, I loved Android but now I rather have a device that is far superior and guarantees great performance.

If a person changes phone every 5-6 years then that person is using an iPhone no doubts.
If a person changes phones every 3 years then that person is using an Android phone unless the person custom ROM it to extend.
But if a person change phone every year, but uses iPhone that has 5 years of software update, then there's no point buying iPhone. ( Unless he is very rich).

I had OnePlus One, 3, 6 and now 7 Pro and the way 7P was treated is a joke. Buggy and slow updates, more and more bloat like Zen Mode with each update, terrible photo quality compared to other flagship and the list goes on. I would've bought OnePlus 9 Pro by now but experience with 7P has made me decide not to upgrade.
I've installed LineageOS on my phone and never looking back at the buggy trash that is current OxygenOS, I get much better battery life, everything works and apps aren't killed in ghe background for no reason.
When I upgrade my next phone is going to be an iPhone. There are no more good android phones, I'm not using Xiaomi phones because MIUI is a crime against humanjty, Pixels have terrible hardware, Sony is overpriced (1 III is more expensive than 12 Pro Max) and Samsung started putting 1080p screens and plastic on $1000 non-Ultra flagships.
