Dennis.K, 09 Jul 2021Out of all ppl to design a phone for them, Asus 😭😭Well Asus really makes one of the best designs if you don't count Zenfone 8, and undoubtedly the most powerful android smartphones without cheating on benchmarks. So Qualcomm chose the right partner here.

AnonD-940827, 08 Jul 2021I like the power button much better. Doesn't require y... moreThe power button ones aren't very accurate either due to small surface area. So if you want best performance it's either a front power button (which I also would love), or the rear one like this.
Sadly, if any company decided to do a front power button they would get destroyed by negative reviews due to the large bezel. Leaving the rear FPS as the best functional option.

They are doing this to iron out the issues on Snapdragon processors by using this as a reference device, serving as a test bed, etc.
They are trying to avoid future issues like the overheating, excessive power consuming issues that plagued Snapdragon 888 devices.

Still pricey, but not as extreme as everyone makes it out to be. iPhone doesn't even give a charger with their phones. You get a fast charger with this.
