This is a very good specs but it can't keep up with other phone in price range. Look its at mi 11 ultra and s21 ultra price range so u can already imagine it gets destroyed by the 2 juggernauts. For 1300 this is basically too niche product. Variable zoom gets beaten by 2 zoom lenses. Mi 11 ultra digital zoom is as good as this variable zoom on this. The 4k oled is too dim for the price

One Sony phone's keypad buttons died exactly 2 years later. One Sony phone's motherboard required replacement within one month of purchase. One Sony phone heats up for no reason under normal usage. One Sony camera also heats up for no reason under normal usage. Battery drains to 0% within a couple of months even when removed from the camera. Quality indeed.

            All phones have an app capable of accessing the service already, an extra app that adds nothing useful is stupid.
            Again, nobody should be forced to install an app to vote on a website.

                How funny is it for people to say that nobody is willing to pay $1300 for a Sony phone that has 4K HDR 120Hz display when there are literally billions of people who paid $1400 for an iPhone that has a 1240p 60Hz display in 2021.

                        No phone is perfect, regardless of the price. Not even the super expensive Galaxy Fold is perfect anyway, so just find the phone that really suits your needs the best and move on with life.
                        It doesn't even take a genius to understand that not every phone is created similarly for the same type of consumers, and this Xperia is a very good evidence of that.

                          This phone has about just as many flaws as an S21 Ultra and 12 Pro Max, heck maybe even less than those two, but nobody is saying that those two phones are not worth their prices. Why? It's because those two brands are already popular, so no matter how big the issues are with their phones, people would still find it justifiable to spend a lot of money on their products, but for Sony, no matter how close to perfection they get, every single hater will always find something to complain about. Even the ridiculously tiniest nitpicks will be highlighted as a huge issue and turn it into a deal breaker. For instance, it's only Sony who gets flamed for the overheating issues caused by the SD888, but an S21 Ultra and even the 12 Pro Max throttles just as heavily when stressed out a lot. This is done to make it seem like it's a Sony problem than a Qualcomm problem, and then you're gonna tell me that it's all constructive criticism?
                          I'm only open to it when it's Juan Bagnell or TK Bay from YouTube who would point them out, as they are the right people to which this Xperia phone is made for.

                                Yes, I fully agree with you, if this was launch a year ago together with the iphone 12 pro or s21 ultra, you could really justify the price, but now that these phones are now cheaper than ever before, its not really a good deal anymore, even (sony fanboys) tech reviewers on youtube could not hide that fact, that its already late.
