That's not what I'm saying. My point is that OLED will have burn-in no matter what. That's the way it works. There is no OLED display that will not burn in.

"If that was the case, we wouldn't be deep diving into different panels."

Different panels don't remove the fact that it still burns in, it only delays it, which is what I've been saying.

"Your knowledge resembles that of an amatuer and Sony brand boy like you have become laughing stock on this site. "

I never claimed to be an expert, but I have done some research and have decent knowledge. Throwing jabs and calling me a Sony brand boy doesn't mean you're right. You still haven't actually explained how the new panels prevent burn-in (hint: they don't prevent it)

"Just because other Sony brand boys praise Xperia panel in your Sony echo chamber, doesn't mean other users are gonna swallow this BS."

It's not about praising Xperia panels, it's just knowledge about OLED displays and how they work, you still haven't explained what I said that was BS.

"False. You don't even understand how or when burn in happens."

You don't understand that OLED burn all the time, they have a certain lifespan because of the organic material that degrades. Burn-in will happen no matter what, but you can delay it with many different ways, reducing brightness is one of them, but not the only way.

That's not what I meant, the technology is still the same. The same burn-in risks still apply. Having the increased brightness always on max and your usage determines how soon you get burn-in.

No matter how much you defend that dimily lit Xperia, it can't match premium displays inside S21 Ultra and MI 11 Ultra

I've already refuted that lie, I don't need to use mental gymnastics when they're clearly lying. Claims Xperia has "low-quality" OLED, provides no proof. Claims the rest have "high-quality" OLED and don't get burn-ins, provides no proof.

Which preserves the life of the display and I'd rather have that instead of a brighter screen. I can see perfectly fine.

"Rest of the panel's are bright and high quality, no burn in...."

If you're saying that the other panels will not get burn-in, you're lying right now. Again all OLED is the same.

"oops I forgot there will be burn in... Burn a hole in your pocket for dim Xperia garbage, Sony users will burn in envy after looking at brighter panels"

I know you wanna be funny, but you look pretty sad. Lying to throw jabs at a certain fanbase is pretty pathetic. Regardless, I own an Xperia and I don't really care that much, it's fine for me.

All OLED is the same, there is no such thing as low-quality OLED. Don't lie about something you clearly have no knowledge about. Xperia's not being as bright reduces the chance of burn-in.

"Burn in is an urban legend in 2021... Hardly happens."

Not the point, and you're clearly lying when you say it hardly happens. Every single phone in a display stand at a cell phone carrier will suffer burn-in within months since they crank the brightness to the max and always leave it there like that, which is the point.

How bright you have your display is a factor in how quickly you're likely to get burn-in on a phone. I've said this multiple times, but your usage is what determines it. OLED will get burn-in, it's impossible to avoid, you can only delay it.

"Will definitely happen when if cheap quality panel of Xperia was pushing 900 nits like S21 Ultra and MI 11 Ultra"

No such thing as cheap OLED, it's the same technology.

Even a 1/1.5 inch 12 MP sensor can have 2 micron pixels. Istead of making 108 MP with that sensor size, it's better to make 12 MP sensor which will provide better video and better colour fidelity. My current phone has a 4 to 1 pixel binning samsung sensor and it's pathetic in video and also in photos. Despite having 1/1.7 inch sensor size it can't even compete with a 1/2.9 inch 12 MP sony sensor.
