It's been well known iphone tends to take pic's that are more photogenic. The issue is whether or not the majority of consumers care. I know people here do because most here are into specs, but we don't speak for the average consumer.
Regular people don't take with their phone and then worry about saturation and overexposure. The pic either looks good or it does not. They also don't worry about capturing images 10 miles away. They are more into taking pic's that are 1 to 10 feet away.

when huawei released this phone they comparing p50 h2h with iphone pro 12, and from my perspective, iPhone 12 Pro camera color is off in many different condition, I don't care if people got offended with my opinion, but in term of color, I like p20pro more than iPhone 12 Pro

I'm seeing the samples and discussion on DPReview forums and yes, this is the real deal.
The zoom camera is extremely surprising.

Apparently it uses all Omnivision sensors for the rear cameras due to problems with supply from Sony because of the trade ban. These are the reported sensors on kimovil and numerous Chinese sources. Seems like a downgrade on paper but the results
do look good on DXO.
Omnivision OV50a (main)
Omnivision OV40a (black and white)
Omnivision OV13B10 (ultrawide)
Omnivision OV64b (zoom)

- Thats what happens when you dont know how Huawei's camera app work. You can always plays with light & shadow if you want to in Auto, along with focusing. Tap & hold, 2 icons will emerge, one for light metering, another one subject focus area. Here's are my take using that method taken by Mate 20 & P40 - https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=10owQJauk23zU6Ykhq3rKmocFHZ6ZaN6U
'How many times do you take shots without any focus on a subject? I don't think anyone does'
- Genre. You forgot about that. Scenery, landscape, architecture etc. Sometimes dont need any subject & just let the whole frame in focus, sometimes u just want to let the DR go wide, just like what our eyes sees. Thats the purpose of it. Just because u dont use it, doesnt mean others dont. Now actual camera with adjustable aperture can achieve that, but not a smartphone fixed aperture lens. So what it can do just Auto snap it. Here's also my take on it on what I explain, using Mate 20 & P40 - https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=10hdN7PGPvmot9oI1SUtv0B86xwBzaNWW

Pathetic is posting a comment without even waiting for a review, and using your fake accounts to vote for yourself, do you really expect someone to create that many instant votes on all P50 posts? And all on average 12, are you a kid and did you learn to use bots recently?
At least disguise them a bit, although you can't expect more from someone who has gone to all the P50 posts just mentioning its 3.5X telephoto lens and comparing it to the Mi 11.

DxOmark making this useless shot as dynamic range test is usless in itself. How many times do you take shots without any focus on a subject? I don't think anyone does. So their whole dynamic range teste makes no practical case. When you shoot a subject in such conditions there is a great chance that subject will be underexposed but there is also a chance that if subject is properly exposed there will be nothing to see outside the window. In that case where did all "referent dynamic range" go? See, it's useless.
