I probably say these are not the best phones for Indians.....
If u want a gaming phone you can go with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.....
High performance- Kirin 9000
4g - Huawei P50
Though Indians can go with OnePlus Nord2, Gaming- Poco F3 GT.....
Although, Micromax In 2b is a monster.....
Budget- Today's Infinix Smart 5a...

Shui8, 02 Aug 2021Mate 50 will have 5G again with China's own chips - h... moreSMIC's 7nm process? I'd still buy it even if inferior to TSMC & Samsung's 4nm process. The SD870 is 7nm and it's not going to be far off the SD895.

Had hands-on P50 yesterday and overall its quite good. I wanted to buy a new phone and Mi 11 ultra was on my mind. After comparing both phones I decided to get Mi 11 ultra 12/256 instead and P50 is for pre-order only. 6.5k CNY for P50 8/256 is too pricey IMHO and I need Google. I got my Mi 11 ultra for bargain of 5.5 CNY only which bundled with 67w charge, Air 2 SE earphones and bag. I also have P40 pro and to get a fully functional google Mi 11 ultra(China ROM) wins hand-down. If you want to use it for taking photos, get P50, if you want use google and some good photos, look else where

Eventhough the camera outcome still great, lots of experimental stuff are on these P50s using 3rd class hardware.
To be honest, I'll skip it. If u want Huawei's Leica camera for the best value & still top notch among 2021 flagship, get the P40 Pro+ with 5G. Its available globally & can get local warranty. Mate 40 Pro+ are better, but availability is scarce & still pricey.

Mate 50 will have 5G again with China's own chips - https://twitter.com/RODENT950/status/1421900212491231237?s=19
P50 & P50 Pro camera sensors currently are using Omnivision, & will continue to do so with next Mate 50. Collaboration between Leica still questionable in future (Leica itself told it is confidential). Kirin 9000 P50 version are only in the 'dynamic blue sky' color variant, only exclusive for China. Rest of the world will get SD888.

Apple users don't switch to Android as they're used to IOS and Android users don't switch to Apple as they're used to Android. (Reliable) Google apps are a necessity for Android to work properly. So, nobody in his/her sane mind will buy a Huawei phone and keep trying to get it operate properly. These are for enthusiasts only, nobody else.

Many choose not a phone for me, prepare Huawei you die. This is very difficult even you lose in your own country. This year's flagship disappointments, are at Huawei, Sony, Oneplus and Motorola.

They look excellent. Prices will be lower or come with bundles, so overall will be a good choice.
The only downside is 5g, but 90% of the world will do ok without it for next few years.

My answer would be.. I can see myself possibly getting P50 Pro, but if and only if it's officially released in where I live and goes through the 50% price cut (which is in fact what exactly happened to P40 series several weeks ago). Otherwise, for me simply it wouldn't be worth getting one.

Mizzy, 02 Aug 2021But remember, not all of us is slaves of Google and see thi... moreBut this time, it has 5 huge problems :
1. Too expensive
2. Offers less than what competitors offers at the same price
3. No GMS (bad for general consumers, and tech people aren't as much as general consumers)
4. No 5G when other brands offer it (great for marketing for brands to attract customers)
5. For the first time ever, Huawei didn't offer anything innovative, since most of the times, every time Huawei launch a new phone, there will always be something new, but not this time with the P50 except the design

I don't understand why People choose Snapdragon over Kirin. Snapdragon 888 is an power hungry and overheating chipset even though it is 5% more powerful than Kirin 9000. Kirin has an huge advantage in Battery efficiency, heating management, AI NPU, and better signal connectivity coverage. Maybe people just chose the Snapdragon bcuz of higher antutu and benchmarks? Also, maybe because Qualcomm is an better name than Kirin

John, 02 Aug 2021Pros of buying the vanilla P50: - Flat screen - Cheaper ... moreThe ultrawide cam of P50 vanilla is only 16mm, so not as wide as other phones with 13 or 14mm, not to mention the monster Mi 11 Ultra with 12mm. Also, the 13 MP maybe is their selfie camera sensor, so that will maybe mean crappy ultrawide night photos, unlike previous Huawei phones with excellent ultrawides

Will wait for another Kirin chipset, they're so efficient, hope they gonna solve this trade war soon
