Google was very satisfied with sales, 3a was doing very well.
They celebrated the 8 million sales in 2019.
Pixel 4 and 5 are not doing well.

High ISO performance increases with sensor size.
Larger sensors have better signal to noise ratio.
This is why large sensor cameras give better photos at ISO25600 than phones at ISO1600.

How I would like Google to release a special edition of Nexus with Sony or Xiaomi or Nokia, it is worth dreaming

Pixels are my favorite brand of phones but I don't see it surviving another two generations. Nobody cares about Pixels. Nobody cared for Nexus phones either. Only phone nerds like me cares about them.

I don't think so, they should keep updating pixel 5 for 3 more versions, which are 3 versions of Gcam, and even with its custom processor I don't think it's the end, after all it is used in several devices with different processors, although this is it may be because Qualcomm provides the source code, someone with knowledge can answer me

According to Kuo, the iPhone 13 will get an approximately 48mm² sensor (the 12 Pro Max has 35mm², so not a huge difference) and there's no rumor about the f-number or effective lens diameter (sensor size is useless, if one doesn't know any specs about the lens)

By the way, Google has confirmed that the Pixel 6 captures 150% more light (probably they wanted to say 150% more light per time) than the Pixel 5. This means that the Pixel 6 captures 2.5 times as much light per time as the Pixel 5. That's as if the Pixel 5 had an f/1.1 lens instead of f/1.73. So it will capture nearly as much light per time as an S21 Ultra, but in the end that's not very important as the results depend on so many factors (artifacts and wrong white balance can ruin everything). Also, allegedly, the iPhone 13 series will get a huge camera upgrade, too.

But I'm ready to forgive everything if their camera system will deliver the best photos out there again and the battery life won't be disappointing. Don't care about the rest if the price is good (unlike bloody Xperia 1 III) :).
