Bought Poco F3 on MIUI Global 13.0.3 for my wife, and she complained about calls going on mute unintentionally because her cheek touches the phone. After searching the internet I find out this is a known issue. They should prohibit selling these phones as it's obvioously a hardware related desing issue!

I purchased new mobile redmi note 10 t 5g from next day I observe that my mobile proximity sensor not working during a call when I am in sunlight and working properly during call when I am in artificial light I visited site he gives me new sealed mobile but same problem found front in mi service technician ,he say will fix through ota software update . Nex time I am purchas others company mobile not redmi or xioami

Keep fighting with this BS over one yeae in poco F3 and now im done with it. Moving to Samsung or Moto, is stupid that the only thing i must no fail is being a phone, xiaomi and poco fail in that

My solution is to buy a new phone. Not Xiaomi of course. None of the provided solutions worked.

I bought a redmi 9 Power. During the calls keypads were pressing and mute button pressed accidentally. I was searching for a solution by turning off proximity sensor. I want to lock my screen during the calls. None found. So I decided to exchange the phone.
At store I liked the remi Note 11s, screen is bright and crisp(AMOLED). So I bought it. Also I thought punch screen will fix my issue instead of drop down notch. Actually I went for oppo or vivo. When I returned from store I attended a call on new phone and my mute button pressed. SO I REALISED THAT I JUST LOST 18500 on the new phone.

This is very frustating, since you cant use the phone for multi-using during the running call.

I have Xiaomi Note 10. I replaced it few days ago with Samsung A22. Would never again buy Xiaomi, the worst phone I ever had in my life. Proximity sensor issue is the main reason, couldnt make a call without puting it on mute or hold... The screen "freeze" was another issue, have to lock/unlock to unfreeze it, although it is not even close as annoying as the proximity issue.
